A Believer in Jesus Christ is not under the Mosaic Law; The Israelites from about 1400 B. C. until Christ couldn"t even Keep them;To those in the "Time of Jesus " Those "Religious Leaders, that often quoted the Law to Jesus,He held them
to It,Saying there is One more thing You need to do,That is why when an Individual is focused
on One of the Laws,He has entered into the Keeping of all;-------It is Written without the Sheding of Blood there is No Remission of Sin;---Note Observing Sunday as the Time to gather with other Believers , To Worship ---Offer Thanks & Petition God for our needs is not the Mark of the Beast, The Pope at that Time was only acknowledgeing ,what the Belivers were already doing; I am not of the Catholic Belief. -----The Focus on keeping the Sabbath is not the Gospel;
Note the Observence of Sabbath, Is a Part of God"s Covenant with the Jews,
Ten Commandments
God"s Law is Perfect; It can only Condem and bring a Rependant Person to the Subsustional Sacrifice ,Jesus Christ, He can do what the Law couldn"t ,Sin Debt paid in Full;------Who would want to be under the Law?

For a Christian, it is not about "obeying" or complying with any of the commandments.
So what if someone complies with the commandment that says, "you shall not murder"?
What if a person wants to kill someone, but refrains? Does obeying this commandment make that person a better person, because they refrained from murder even though they wanted to?
But in the Christian ethic, one is to have love for even their enemies. Would you want to murder someone you love? Of course not. Murder comes about from a heart of hatred and not love.
It is written love fulfills the law; all of it. There is a wide difference between keeping a point of law, and fulfilling a point of law.

All of them, not only because they are a good moral code, but because the were given by God. If Christians think that they were overruled by Christ then they are on very thin ice indeed in making their religion appear coherent.
At no time did Christ say the commandments no longer applied.

We should obey all of The Ten Commandments, you seen what happened when Moses came down with the first set, and what happened to those that said, They Would Not obey The Lord, Its happened once, what would give ANYONE a reason to not believe GOD a second time.

The great thing about being a Christian is that you can pick and choose which commandments in the Old Testament to obey. In fact, it's even possible to criticize another Christian for not following a commandment that you yourself don't follow. Take Jimmy Swaggart and Ted Haggard for example. Jesus rules!

The god of this system of things satan, has blinded the minds of the unbelievers, that the illumination of the glorious good news about the Christ, who is the image of God, might not shine through. God is instructing us to repudiate ungodliness and worldly desires and to live with soundness of mind and righteousness and godly devotion amid this present system of things .For it is written: “I will make the wisdom of the wise men perish, and the intelligence of the intellectual men I will shove aside.” But the end of all things has drawn close. This is what Jehovah has said, your Repurchaser, the Holy One of Israel: “I, Jehovah, am your God, the One teaching you to benefit yourself, the One causing you to tread in the way in which you should walk. For this is what the love of God means, that we observe his commandments; and yet his commandments are not burdensome. My child, my law do not forget, and my commandments may your heart observe, because length of days and years of life and peace will be added to you.

yes we should, in fact why shouldnt we, since when did Christ abolish the laws? Or did he not in fact full full them? Why does he say in the new testament, if you love me, keep my commandements? And if you break a least one commandment you are guilty of them breaking them all. Breaking the commandments leads to hell not heaven.

Most answerers don't seem to realize that there are 613 Jewish commandments. The only commandments that apply to non-Jews are the 7 Noahide laws.

None of the commandments of the old Testament are in effect; while some of the commandments of the New Testament are the same commands, they are under a different authority.
Consider:
Col 2:14 having wiped out the handwriting of requirements that was against us, which was contrary to us. And He has taken it out of the way, having nailed it to the cross.
Rom 8:2 For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has made me free from the law of sin and death.
Understand form the context of these and other passages that the Law of Sin and death is the same as the Law of Moses, the Old Testament
>>>>>>>>>>>
For the purposes of understanding, compare it to the laws of the United States. Before the consitituion, we were under the articles of confederation. Say that it was against the law under those documents to murder. Then comes the consitution, which also make it against the law to murder. If I am obeying the law, it is because I am under the new law, not the old one. The old one is no longer in effect, and I cannot appeal to it for legal issue.
