First, if you can't or won't answer a *hypothetical* question, then this question isn't for you :)

If someone were to find and authenticate a lost book of the Bible in which God or Jesus states that Texas belongs to the Israelites, would you defend their right to take over Texas?

Yes.

However, your question would be better if you replaced Israelites with Mexicans.

The answer would still be yes.

I don't know what a "Right-wing Christian" is, but as a Christian, and somehow all of that happened and the Bishops of the world got together and authenticated this lost book, then we'd know it was the truth. However, they would also have to authoritatively agree with that interpretation. Then, yes, we'd be obliged to follow that, hypothetically. Of course the reality of such a hypothetical is virtually null, you realize.

Sure, if it's authentic and predicts the existence of the state of Texas 2000 years in advance, that'll be impressive. If it's vague and just says they can have the land where steers roam, then I would ask them to reinterpret it

I guess I am not right winged since I don't currently defend the political agendas of the Israelite nation.

But I guess I might respond by saying, "no" because no longer is God's people defined in ethnic terms but rather in terms if one is "in Christ" or not.

Wouldn't the Lone Star Promised Land indicate that at least one inspired writer in antiquity knew about the earth being round?

My answer is yes.
Texas did belong to the Mexicans (Isrealites) at one time.
I wouldn't go around pretending that I own texas like so many people do! :o)

I'm not a right-wing Christian, but I wouldn't mess with Texas.
