The last 2 years when I passed out candy I had a LOT of adults (like in their 30's and 40's) with NO kids come to my door with pillow-cases for candy. (and not even bothered to get dressed in costume) They would screech down the street stopping at any house with the porch light on, and 10 of them would tumble out of the car like it was a friggin clown-car or something and come RUNNING up the porch steps and pound on the door, SCREAMG "trick o treat!!" - - - SO obnoxious. I wanted so many times to say "um, sorry...but I only do this for the kids - run along"....but I was afraid someone will get violent, or come back to my house when I'm not home and break in or something.

Now my question is: Why would they ruin Halloween like this? I had parents steer their kids away from my house and move across the street when they saw all these big people acting like fools on my porch.

It wouldn't be a question of race if I had both black and white people do this, but there were NO white

In your view, how much is illness and disease a result of karma? To what degree do you think emotions and thoughts cause illness? If you believe in reincarnation, do you believe we face similar illnesses/injuries/diseases until we heal some aspect of ourself? How much illness is related to an inability to forgive?

Dear Friends,

Do you feel empty and far away from God? Do you yearn for greater fulfilmet and peace of mind? Do you feel guilt or things that you have done wrong?

Gods word the Bible teaches us that we are all sinners, all of us with no exceptions:

Romans 3:23
for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God,

The reason for this is that we are all imperect decendents of Adam:

Romans 5:12
[ Death Through Adam, Life Through Christ ] Therefore, just as sin entered the world through one man, and death through sin, and in this way death came to all men, because all sinned—

God created us to have a relationship with him, and what is missing from your life is this relationship with the creator of the universe.

God gave us free will, and our ancestor Adam, chose to believe the Devil rather than God. Now we to hae a choice.

God offers you his free gift of forgiveness, and all you have to do is take it!

Thhink of all the bad things you have done in your

1. If you were stranded on a desert island who would you rather have as a companion, an atheist or a christian?

2. If your life were in the hands of someone else, would you rather it be a christian or an atheist?

You can give a third option, but it will not count.

My three grandsons are a handful to get out of the house on most mornings. Let us just say that they are of an age when arguing about everything is a "fun" pastime!

Today, I have to get all three of them fed their lunches and then dressed in their costumes, all within a half an hour. And TWO of them require some involved makeup, which I think I am going to tone down for their afternoon at school, and only do "for good" for their trick-or-treating after supper.

So who are YOU dressing today?

My oldest will be Hitsugia from an anime program called Bleach.

The middle one of going to be Jack Sparrow.

And the youngest is going to be Jack Skelington from The Nightmare Before Christmas.

sounds a bit harsh to me, as if, even if we follow to the best of our abilities and live lives that are clean in thought, word and deed, we are still unlikely to reach the Kingdom of Heaven.

With quotes like this in the Bible, it is beyond me why people follow religion at all! I'm not knocking anybody because i used to go to church and still believe to a certain extent but it seems a like a long shot to me that if you follow and live a clean life, you still might not get into heaven cos only a few do.

What's the point in all of this persecution and martyrdom for a religion that doesn't even guarantee a reward at the end when it says in other parts of the Bible that all followers will receive tha kingdom of heaven as their reward.

Help to explain this to me please because quite frankly it sounds a tad absurd!

that followers of the abrahamic faith, like muslims, jews and christians blindly follow teachings they don't fully understand.
These guys blindly accuse us of witchcraft and divination, worshipping false gods etc.. When they have groups within their faiths, kabballists with jews, sufi's with muslims, gnostics with christians who practice divination, witchcraft, and worship deities, who learn to fully understand the way scripture was written, ie: it makes more sense. Almost like the mystic work was always there, but needed a solid religion to follow it.
So from a pagan view, it's paganism/wicca just with solid background, even in freemasonry, the initiated/adept, as he progresses, learns that versus etc have double meanings and are written a certain way that usually the enlightened can understand.
What you think?

eg: a book, texting a friend, a cuppa, a fave film, walking the dog, cuddling the cat, going for a walk etc, etc.

For those who didn't know Halloween is All Hallows Eve. Hallow being a saintly figure. The new year All Hallows Day (all saints day) was on November 1st and in the night before that was counted as an otherworldly time between the two years when all the ghosts and ghools came out.

Mark 16:15 (KJV)

"And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature."

Us humans have all heard about Christ by now but there's a lot of other animals out there need saving. Spend some time preaching to them.

Remember, this is what CHRIST said. It's in red. Go to it.
