Something that God (or a spirit) revealed to a person, that they could not have known otherwise?

Preferably information that was later confirmed true by a source other than the one who received the message?

When Paul was getting ready for his last mission trip, Agabus came up to him and told him that he was going to be bound, and they wrapped his hands in a belt.

Act 21:10 As we were staying there for some days, a prophet named Agabus came down from Judea.

Act 21:11 And coming to us, he took Paul's belt and bound his own feet and hands, and said, "This is what the Holy Spirit says: 'In this way the Jews at Jerusalem will bind the man who owns this belt and deliver him into the hands of the Gentiles.

Paul was arrested and spent the rest of his life in prison.

God is actually three Persons. Jews had the revelation that there is only one God (although other cultures such as the Egyptians flirted with the notion). Jesus introduced the fact of Trinity, something only He would have known. He was obviously one of the Persons because he claimed to be able to forgive sin, something only God can do. He prayed to another Person he called "Father". A third Person he called the "Advocate"; we call Him the Holy Spirit, was clearly separate from both. Catholics believe all Three are part of the one Godhead.

A teacher of mine related a story of his out of body experience. He traveled in spirit to the home of a friend miles away and observed the friend in his nightclothes. Much later, my teacher talked to his friend and asked him details of the night in question. The friend's actions and dress were described exactly; also the friend claimed to have "felt" a presence that night. It is suggestive, but of course, not hard evidence.

O God of earth and altar
Bow down and hear our cry
Our earthly rulers falter
Our peolple drift and die
The walls of gold entombe us
The swords of scorn divide
Take not thy thunder from us
But take away our pride
(g. k. chesterton: english hymnal)

Just a babe in a black abyss
No reason for a place like this
The walls are cold and souls cry out in pain
An easy way for the blind to go
A clever path for the fools who know
The secret of the hanged man - the smile on his lips

The light of the blind youll see
The venom that tears my spine
The eyes of the nile are opening - youll see

She came to me with a serpents kiss
As the eye of the sun rose on her lips
Moonlight catches silver tears I cry
So we lay in a black embrace
And the seed is sown in a holy place
And I watched and I waited for the dawn

The light of the blind youll see
The venom that tears my spine
The eyes of the nile are opening - youll see

Bind all of us together
Ablaze of hope and free
No storm or heavy weather
Will rock the boat youll see
The time has come to close your eyes
And still the wind and rain
For the one who will be king
The watcher in the ring
It is you

Here's a good one: Holy cow, it's all a big lie. There really is no truth in the Bible.

There you go; I have revealed the truth to you.

When the Magi knew the Christ baby was born and Herod learned and was told the Messiah would be born in Bethlehem.

Mat 2:1 After Jesus was born in Bethlehem in Judea, during the time of King Herod, Magi from the east came to Jerusalem
Mat 2:2 and asked, “Where is the one who has been born king of the Jews? We saw his star in the east and have come to worship him.”
Mat 2:3 When King Herod heard this he was disturbed, and all Jerusalem with him.
Mat 2:4 When he had called together all the people's chief priests and teachers of the law, he asked them where the Christ was to be born.
Mat 2:5 “In Bethlehem in Judea,” they replied, “for this is what the prophet has written:
Mat 2:6 ” ‘But you, Bethlehem, in the land of Judah, are by no means least among the rulers of Judah; for out of you will come a ruler who will be the shepherd of my people Israel.' ”
Mat 2:7 Then Herod called the Magi secretly and found out from them the exact time the star had appeared.
Mat 2:8 He sent them to Bethlehem and said, “Go and make a careful search for the child. As soon as you find him, report to me, so that I too may go and worship him.”

The story of the Golden Calf--Moses was on the mountain, speaking to GD, when GD told him what was happening below:

Exd 32:1 When the people saw that Moses was so long in coming down from the mountain, they gathered around Aaron and said, “Come, make us gods[fn1] who will go before us. As for this fellow Moses who brought us up out of Egypt, we don't know what has happened to him.”
Exd 32:2 Aaron answered them, “Take off the gold earrings that your wives, your sons and your daughters are wearing, and bring them to me.”
Exd 32:3 So all the people took off their earrings and brought them to Aaron.
Exd 32:4 He took what they handed him and made it into an idol cast in the shape of a calf, fashioning it with a tool. Then they said, “These are your gods, O Israel, who brought you up out of Egypt.”
Exd 32:5 When Aaron saw this, he built an altar in front of the calf and announced, “Tomorrow there will be a festival to the Lord.”
Exd 32:6 So the next day the people rose early and sacrificed burnt offerings and presented fellowship offerings. Afterward they sat down to eat and drink and got up to indulge in revelry.
Exd 32:7 Then the Lord said to Moses, “Go down, because your people, whom you brought up out of Egypt, have become corrupt.
Exd 32:8 They have been quick to turn away from what I commanded them and have made themselves an idol cast in the shape of a calf. They have bowed down to it and sacrificed to it and have said, ‘These are your gods, O Israel, who brought you up out of Egypt.’
