I have been swinging from the monkey bars for quite some time now, and it seems rather easy. Is this my monkey genes coming out in full force?

I never really thought of it that way before. I really like to go swimming in the summer with my family. Perhaps that means that fish learned to climb trees and grew arms before turning into monkeys. That would explain the VESTIGIAL arms and legs we all have.

Dude, are you silly or what? Why would you, Baptist say such nonsense? Unless, you are trying to make light of those who believe in such nonsense. We are unique,created beings by a great and awesome God. This same God has a good plan for each of us. (Jeremiah29:11-14) Psalms says He created us! Or perhaps you still feel like a kid who wants to play(nothing wrong w/ this).
