We all have days where we feel less than 100%, for one reason or another. Rather than stick your head in the sand...what's the most effective pick-me-up for you?

eg: a book, texting a friend, a cuppa, a fave film, walking the dog, cuddling the cat, going for a walk etc, etc.

Housework does it for me and then afterwards a book and some coffee or tea....mon petit chou chou?

usually, I feel productive and know that when I'm done I "deserve" a little break.....gardening during the warm months replaces the housework during the colder times. I also kind of see it as a metaphor for my own personal growth...if the house was messy but I can clean it, my own personal filth can be cleaned as well...

sometimes you just feel the moment, and then another passes, and then you get by. moments of self awareness that come from meditation are not always a bad thing ,unless of course we dwell there. my favorite pick me ups are swimming, talking with family, doing something nice for my child,a good adventure book, going to church, calling my family to see how they are doing, dark chocolate, macaroni and cheese,my music, art, looking at my fish,a ride in the car, garage sales or auctions,i like to go to the theatre,a short trip, breaking down nature into small bits like the warmth of the sun. or a crisp cool breeze. i can't wait for snow.

Good morning! We all have those days .... just try to stay busy doing anything -- reading, organizing, etc. Everything changes. Wishing you the very best! :D
