Belief in Santa Claus makes children behave. It allows parents to control their kids. Kids that believe in Santa are happier and healthier and get more toys. In countries where Santa is rejected there are fewer toys and more naughty girls and boys. Children cannot possibly be moral without belief in Santa Claus because if they know they aren't getting toys they will just act like brats. The festive spirit of the entire western world has been boosted by the belief in Santa, thus spurring the growth of our peaceful civilization. Without believing in Santa clause, our youth would turn to crime and drugs and our society would collapse. But worst of all, no children would receive toys and our economy would suffer as a result (and so would China's)

So, by the pristine logic of most Christians,

Santa Claus most *certainly* exists!

I do not believe in abortion but do think that we need to control our population. I can't find any charities to donate to which don't do abortion, but do do birth control. I am in the UK, but would be happy to support such a charity based anywhere. Can anyone help?

I`m not saying that Christians can`t do good for the sake of doing good. That would be absurd. My question is - can an act of good will done because God commanded it or because a person wants to be a good Christian - be considered alturistic?

That includes all of the Christian charity drives, Mother teresa missions, etc...

car and house and is always super nice. No problem right? I feel like a complete loser compared. I work from home, rarely excersize because I am working, I always seem stressed out and always say yes to people so I never have time to myself. I don't take care of myself and I look like it. I guess I have low self esteem and I find myself saying the dumbest things to her....telling her everything and she shares little to nothing. She is very tight to the vest and is very concerned with being perfect. How can I raise myself up, get some dignity and be a confident person that is not intimidated by my neighbor?

I have heard people say the Bible doesn't support slavery. I know there are lots of verses and stories about owning slaves, how to treat your slaves, selling your slaves, etc. I would like to know if there is one single verse or chapter that actually says that slavery is wrong. And it can't be a verse that needs to be interpreted, it has to say in a plain language that slavery is wrong.
