I am sick of my teacher making homophobic comments in class. He also allows other students to make gay slurs without any dicipline. I don't want to get him fired, but I also don't want to confront him personally about it.

Today he was eating pink M&M's and he said, "I feel really gay now." And he also said, "There is nothing wrong with being gay, as long as you are happy. HAHAHA!" <---He said that was a pun....?.?.?

It is annoying. I hate it. What can I do without having to confront him, or get him fired??

My friend and I were talking about demons and she said she was really scared of demons but my husband told her not to worry because there are over 4 billion people in the world and there is only 7,405,926 demons in the world but then she said there were 133,316,666 of them. My husband said she was wrong but didn't want to argue with her and now she is telling me that my husband is wrong and that upsets me. She is Catholic and thinks that fallen angels are demons and I told her that demons came from the offspring of fallen angels and women after they died. She doesn't believe me and believes there are 400,000,000 angels and a third of them are fallen. I told her there were more than 400,000,000 angels because every child has their own angel but then she said that angels can look after multiple children at once. Who is right? I want to know and I don't like that she said my husband was wrong.

As an example, Rutherford said that in 1925 Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, and the prophets would return to Earth. He prepared them a mansion named Beth Sarim and he personally moved into this mansion and even bought an automobile with which to drive the resurrected patriachs around!

Can you believe this stuff??? That must have been real embarrassing moment in the JWs; history and another failed prophecy.

Skipping your belief in the Bible and quoting scriptures. I am looking for people's other experiences for believing. I am an athiest but I promise I will not laugh at the answers from your heart or call you schizophrenic. I often will say to Christians, "If you were born in India you would likely be Hindi." I look for those things that really lead you to your beliefs rather than simply being taught and in the culture where it is dominant.

I find it interesting to see people's ideas on reincarnation, and what they would choose to be. If it were me, I would choose to be some sort of monkey, because they are the closet relative of the human.

And that atheist, who although did not engage in tactics intended to demean people of faith, he still held several atheist opinions about theist. These opinion would be as followed:
"Theist are delusional, because they believe in something that obviously don't exist"
"Theist do not have the capability to be logical"
"Theist cannot grasp science"
"Religion can only lead to violence"

And other popular opinions about theism and religion. So how would these opinions affect the way that he will represent the citizens that are theist? Would it be right or wrong for the theist population to question him about these beliefs? Do you think that theist would be justified in assuming that they would not be treated fairly, because he had these opinions? By what frameworkd would he represent the theist community? Would he represent them under the opinion that they are delusional or under the opinion that they are american citizens of faith?

I'm 16 years old, last time I went to church was about 8 years ago when I attended Catholic private school. But all of that changed and I no longer believed in God anymore.

Now, I want to have that relationship again with him. I was thinking about joining a youth group, I want a sense of belonging also, sports at school isn't my thing and I'm really kind of shy. It seems to fit.

But what do we do there exactly, is it my kind of scene? Expensive?

I'm 20.
My dad is a pastor.
My parents have told me they think I'm going down the wrong path. They've cut me off.
I don't drink. I don't smoke. I don't have sex. I've been hurt by so many people because I won't do these things with them.
My parents still think I'm a bad daughter.
They cut me off, so I had to move back home -- I live an hour away from them. They call me multiple times a day.
I moved away from the city and the people I love.
They forbid me to do things.
I'm 20.
I should do them anyway -- but I want to honor and respect my parents.
I don't want to be mad at God.
But I am.
I don't know how to get over it.
Help me.

People are making a big deal that Obama didn't put his hand on his heart during the National Anthem. I am a conservative Christian Republican and I don't put my hand on my heart. What is the rule? I know you do for the Pledge but do you have to for the National Anthem too?

long story ,,,I was cut off by entire extended family for not doing everything they demanded and refused to be bullied.
have not heard from any of these people in 4 years.
one person out of the 14 of them, my cousins wife has called every labor day and thanksgiving, talking like she knows from nothing i got off, she dishes for information about me.

Obviously shes reporting back to them, shes verbally abused me in the past as well and talked behind my back.

Shes left 20 messages since september saying "im really thinking of u and miss you i love you call me"

I have not responded, she wont stop calling.
I know shes dying to find out my holiday plans so she can report it back to the extended family..

How do i deal with her and get her to leave me alone>?
