Faked accents usually sound fake. It takes a lot of practice to fake an accent well. Actors and actresses even have coaches to teach them how to do it.

Lots of practice. I can speak with a Hungarian accent but I usually forget what I am doing and can't keep it up for long.
(I live in Hungary part-time and married 33 years to a Hungarian)
