The last thing I read like that was Jeremiah 11, wherein God tells him to go buy some underwear and put it in the river. Then when he goes back to get it a month later, it's ruined, and God says "Yep, it sucks, just like you would without me. I'm supposed to cleave the loins of Jerusalem." Seriously, it says "cleave the loins of Jerusalem". I guess god likes wedgies.

Ephesians 2:20
And are built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ himself being the chief corner stone;

Paul explaining that Christ is the cornerstone of His Church (a cornerstone is a foundation stone placed at a corner where two walls meet. The cornerstone is essential for the strength and unity of the structure.) Paul also teaching about the importance of apostles and prophets. It seems that living apostles and prophets are essential to the true Church.

I was reading Matthew 6:33 on Saturday. "Seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness and all these things shall be added unto you."

What "came alive" to me was the thought, "My first priority should be the kingdom of God."

My life should reflect my priority....................I went and prayed about it.
