oh baby-boy, did you want to stir up some stuff tonight lol, myself prayer works but people don't understand that are way's are not God's ways like no matter how hard we pray it has to be "god willing" sometimes the best prayers answered are the ones that weren't answered the way we wanted, remember only he can see and knows what's good for us,,I do believe in near death experiences? Ive seen footage on them,,and as far as miracles, they happen every day, I'm a christian but l will never push my beliefs down anyone throat i love both Christians and atheists personally, claiming to be a christian doesn't make you a good person and i know for a fact there are a lot of great atheists,,,why we have to be split down the middle breaks my heart,,,,,,,and being an extremist on any side is just ridiculous

Pray works if the person praying believes it does so it helps them to achieve what they are praying for. I have only had one dear death experience and that was laying on a mountain sided bleeding to death from a leg severed by a falling rock. I didn't pray. I organised the two guys with me to go for help and to administer first aid. Neither of them had any first aid training. I think that my management skills saved my life. As to the miracles that happen when people recover from serious illnesses and the doctors cant explain it. We are still finding out things about the human body and there is a lot more to learn so the negative fact that doctors cant explain a recovery mean they have not discovered why that happens not that a miracle has occurred

Yes prayer does work. While I do not believe that miracles work in the way that Bennie Hine & other believe--I do believe that miracles do work I do believe that miracles do happen.
Onnear death experiences -read Crossing the Threshold of Eternity by R. Wies I think that the name is right. But any Barnes & Noble should have it

Yes, it works...I had a gall bladder problem when I first got saved,,,some of the women prayed for me and I have more or less ate whatever I wanted since then...they told me to eat a normal supper and that is what I did...pain was gone..

I can't tell you about near death experience,,except for the narrow escape I made,,from the Devil....and death...

Miracles don't need proof...if one happens,,you know it...but....was a new baby born into the world today? Wouldn't you consider that a miracle?

Prayer works! I know it because I have had answers to my prayers. Miracles do happen. I know that because my family has had miracle happen, we have prayed for many things since we were barely surviving at one point,(six in the family with no money for food) and a nice person came by with a bag of food because when she was shopping she felt that she needed to buy some extra things, and she didn't know why, also something guided her to our family, and this it what she told us. Prayers Are Answered!

The Templeton foundation in USA conducted an experiment about prayer. It involved people recovering in cardiac wards. Those who were prayed for took longer to recover. So no, prayer doesn't work.
Yes people do have near death experiences, some people do nearly die all the time.
No, miricles cannot be proven, if they could there would be evidence. Miricle is a word bandied about by christians all too often.

Experience is the best teacher.
Just pray to have a problem that only prayers and miracles can solve. Then, come back to this site and tell us your experience.

Prayers don't work, but meditation works (the whole positive energy thing),
I make no comment on the near death experience, because I don't have enough info.
If I see a miracle happening I'll do my best to figure it out... most of the times the so called miracles are fake.

Controlled experiments show that prayer is ineffective. Near-death experiences are fairly common, but have no obvious cause other than the brain being in a stressed situation. For more on this, see:
