I've seen the responses on this site and it kind of saddens me because it seems like we can't get a break.

you'd think they would have written a bit more generally rather than addressing the specific problems of specific people in specific churches at specific times and the particular context in which they operated wouldn't you???

When you are writing a letter to someone, you know them, and you know what to say to them. so why do we treat the letters of Paul any differently? he had some important messages for those people in his time. Somehow by the Holy Spirit aren't we supposed to determine the message that Paul was writing to his audience and then extract the spiritual principle from the message and then apply that message to our context? rather than taking one sentence fragment and prooftexting a whole doctrine on it?

Criticising a doctrine, a religion or even a religious figure is different from hating the followers. Why do most muslims don't get this fact?

I'm so glad to read on here about people waking up with an open mind and realizing that all this primitive spirtual hocus pocus is well.. just that. But are the numbers really growing? Are people REALLY waking up?

the number represents an item found in Alkeldama. This Item is of great importance and intrigue to the western world and the church.
Dr Shimon Gibson and Dr James Tabor were working on a tomb (with students) that wasthought to be the Tomb of 'John the Baptist' in June 2000. While they were there a student noticed an opening that seemed to have broken Ossuary outside. Once investigated they realised that it was a first century tomb, with bones and objects still left by raiders, which had revealed the tomb in the first place. The cloth (shroud) and a "Bone Box ( made of Limestone)was carbon dated to the 1stC. Other pieces of Ossuary were taken away to study. In Oct 2002 a man named Oden Golan revealed a piece of Ossuary to a Proffesor of Semitic Language from Sorbonne Andre Lamaire, he translated the inscription as reading " James son of Joseph brother of Jesus" the piece was shown to Gibson and it showed the same markings as the ones he had found in the 1stC tomb......plse wait!

For those of us who had to work. I am so sorry I never had the time to stay home and make jams (jello?), and do more baking than I did. Although I managed a lot anyway. But not like our grandmothers were able to do.

I just love all the berrie family except gooseberries. Kiwi fruit is great and high in Vitamin C. I like to put oranges into the blender skin and all, with apples and yogurt and honey and some seeds, like poppie, and some nuts. I have a "thing" about biting into apples. I just can't do it. Bananas,Papaya, mangoes, are all among my favourites. And grapes.

Can't wait till we do, I find the Royal Family a pompus disgrace and embarasment to my Country, they may be ok for the English, but definately NOT for a young, strong, industrious and proud Nation like Australia, we reject the Royals, as does the vast majority of the Commonwealth, outside of England !
