the number represents an item found in Alkeldama. This Item is of great importance and intrigue to the western world and the church.
Dr Shimon Gibson and Dr James Tabor were working on a tomb (with students) that wasthought to be the Tomb of 'John the Baptist' in June 2000. While they were there a student noticed an opening that seemed to have broken Ossuary outside. Once investigated they realised that it was a first century tomb, with bones and objects still left by raiders, which had revealed the tomb in the first place. The cloth (shroud) and a "Bone Box ( made of Limestone)was carbon dated to the 1stC. Other pieces of Ossuary were taken away to study. In Oct 2002 a man named Oden Golan revealed a piece of Ossuary to a Proffesor of Semitic Language from Sorbonne Andre Lamaire, he translated the inscription as reading " James son of Joseph brother of Jesus" the piece was shown to Gibson and it showed the same markings as the ones he had found in the 1stC tomb......plse wait!

it was sent to the Royal Ontario Museum. They ran test on the Ancient Patina, they agreed that the writing was consistant with the rest of the Ossuary, that it was 1stC. Alot more people were involved that agreed that this ossuary was infact real and historic. in 2003 The museum returned the Ossuary to the IAA, they confiscated it and accused Oden Golan of fraud, though for the Christians that would be the end of it, the people at the top of their field have agreed that the ossuary was genuine, they even found traces of DNA, which they wanted to test between the DNA they found in the tomb with another ossuary with the name MARYUM written on it, but the IAA refused.
what does this all mean, I know the names were popular in those days but it is quite a coincidence to have all four names mentiond within one tomb
what are your thoughts?

all of you forgot to mention the fact that, if this was true, and there is a good chance it could be due to the fact that all four names came within the same tomb, why would there be a ossuary of MARYUM, due to the fact that the doctrine within Christianity tells of her assumption.
Pope Pius VII in 1950 stated in the Munificentissimus Deus
"we pronouce, declare and define it to be a divinly revealed dogma: that the immaculate Mother of God, the ever Virgin Mary, having completed the course of her life, was assumed BODY AND SOUL, into the heavenly glory"
the Anglican church believes that Mary was indeed taken to heaven body and soul, but that she was alive, that she didn't die.
so how could her ossuary be in a tomb in Israel. you didn't even approach the matter, nevermind denounce it.

it is the IAA that have denouced this evidence, most of the leading scientist have said it it genuine. its something we will have to ponder on.

The evidances of truth are changing. I can see the evidances false or truth made by people. The meaning of the reality will be more important to those evidances. Others are the peanut.

If you check the link from my website provide below, you will find that I have sketched, transcribed and translated the Aramaic inscription on the ossuary in question. I also included some information about where I found it etc.
The writing and script looks genuine to me based upon similar Aramaic writings found in the Dead Sea Scrolls from the same period which I have studied and the thought that a forger might well have tried harder to prove something with the text, (something he does not do). Even so, it would not be impossible to forge such an inscription. The provenance of the ossuary since its discovery would need more careful investigation to establish whether it is genuine.

Serious doubts about the authenticity of the James Ossuary have come to light after its connection with a caught antiquity forger.
In fact the The Israeli Antiquities Authority have declared the inscription to be a fake after close examination, but some Archaeologists are still asking for a second opinion.

In my opinion it really dose not matter if the thing is real or fake, but I would like to see more tests done, if only for the sake of Archeology.

There are two things I think about this: Firstly, those "raiders" are unaware...for the time being, of what is to come and become to them when Jesus Christ our Lord and Saviour who died for you, for me, for the confused aethists, for each and every person who was created by none other than our Heavenly Father, Creator of ALL. Those raiders had choices back then, we all do. They made the horrible choice of doing what they did and there is no denying that they will face up to their heinous actions., and I would never want to know "exactly" in detail what is going to happen to them, as they are dust now, but God has their soul in check, and knew his plan beforehand for them. I can't even imagine, but I've a great clue. As sme say: "If you can't take the heat, stay out of the kitchen" and those horrible raiders are headed for one endless fire. The second point is: At this point in time, and regarding what was done, what was not done, and so on....We can't change the past, and I often wonder, why is it that people insist on dwelling on "trying to disprove so many countless things from the past to discredit Jesus or God or Prophets, pointing fingers, and so on and on. Instead of doing constructive things, like actually following GOD's words, and reading the scriptures. You seem like a highly intellectual and interesting person, so surely you've spent and spend time in bookstores, or on-line books-(I am not answering your question with a question here, bear with me please)and ALL over the shelve are those trillions of "self-help books", the "How to learn to talk to your teen regarding dangers and drugs, sex etc."-and to the ones that are actually titled:"The idiot's guide to "________" with the blank filled with never ending words (And PEOPLE BUY them as surely you know.-It often puzzles me why someone would spend their money to be called an idiot, AND not only be treated as same but to also make the author(s) who write them rich beyond comprehension.) I am trying to say that instead of people going and getting all these books, etc. on how to do this and that; with a stranger calling you (not YOU I mean)stupid, lauging all the way to the bank, and instead of those who do those things along the lines seeking the "how to's" from many other sources can simply open the Bible and in it are the answers to "these How-To's" (if you will) When one seeks countless answers to "lfe" and how to live it, they can not only find an answer to ALL, but they also change lives and souls in an almost indescribeable way. That is also a great way to have some peace. Maybe not much at all, but even if one person hears the good news, then they too can pass on the advice to others jus like them.
Everyting I wrote had good intentions, not negative-
Have a great day, and thanks for all of your interesting questions!
God bless you my friend.

I am waiting.
As a christian, so what?
True or false I can not see what difference it makes. My belief in God the creator of all things does not depend on the findings of a man with a questionable reputation.

Well James and his mother had to be buried somewhere so if this is the Biblical James and Mary, ok. Great. I think they should be allowed to do a DNA test on it. Wouldn't it be interesting if they did one f those face reconstructions from the skulls!

This was already pretty much proven to be a fraud a few years back. The Arab dealer who originally had it confessed, if I remember right.
