It's not about alien spirits and all that urban myth you will hear about it...
All it is is like a very exaggerated self help group... it's about morals, meditation, healthy natural food, anything that works alongside nature... but because of it's bad publicity.. it will never work the way it should
I suppose you can be a scientologist AND a believer in god...
Also in my opinion, modern science almost perverts nature... so I think it should be called Naturology or something

It's one of the most successful scams of all time. Go to www.xenu.net for all the facts of why it is called a dangerous cult. And no.....they don't believe in God. Hubbard had some pretty harsh words to say about Jesus too.

Mostly they do self-help courses. I took a couple of their courses then I quit. Communications and Studying. Good stuff. I still use it.
I went to some Sunday services. Very generic (or I guess its called non-denominational). They asked for good wishes for people going thru disasters, asked for canned goods and clothing, help on disaster teams. They didnt pass a plate for money or anything like that. The people there were all faiths. I hung around them for a couple of years and never saw anything to piss me off.
Believe in God? I guess so. Obviously they didnt push God (or any version of God). But they didnt shout down anyones god either.
