How much of Xfiles was based in reality or the possibility of?

Most of them are based very roughly on reported events. They are not accurately portrayed and most/all of the events are highly suspect in the first place but it was one of the really fun shows to watch sometimes.

the most real fact abt the series is the fact that FBI agents exists..... other than that, mostly fiction like what 'bravozulu' said..
