Recently i got into an argument with a friend over pot. I completely denounce the entire idea of it, and it makes me sick. He, however, said that i have no right to denounce it if i have never done it myself. I said that while I personally might not have done it, I've seen others who have....and he replied by saying that i have no idea...

Making a long story short, we ended up screaming at each other in the middle of the high school hallway and (in a very cliche manner) walking away in opposite directions.

I just wanted to know what other people thought on the subject.

A National Association for the Advancement of White People?

We already have the NAACP. If people want to look at this a racist issue, then it would be only fair to have a NAAWP. Or what about a NAAMP for Mexican people?
Or an NAAFP for French people?

i am wondering why YOU feel the need to change the way they think? are you bothered by gay people? i see where you compare them to drug addicts... are they really destroying their lives or are you making their lives harder by fighting them on this issue... i don't care one way or the other and i happen to believe just as you do that it is a learned behavior that seems normal to them... but at the end of the day... they sleep with who they want and i sleep with who i want... I have a friend whos getting married, shes more like an aquaintance these days, when my father died a traumatic death i asked her to come to the funeral, she never came and said she didnt go because she went to a funearl 3 weeks earlier and its alot to handle. It really hurt me and i felt it was a cheap excuse, didnt feel like she was a real friend.
Now she expects me to go to her wedding? why should i ? she wasnt there for me in my worst day why should i be there on her best day?

I am really having trouble with my prayer life. I feel so far away from God that it seems almost impossible to be reconciled to Him. Prayer is this extremely difficult thing that I dread. I have a feeling that that is not how God intended it to be. Can someone help me to understand what I need to do to make my prayer life better?

I understand that a presidential candidate would have a certain religion, and would want to appeal to people of the same religion, but really, that should have nothing to do with how good of a president that person would be. Religion is just a silly belief system, and would actually prefer a non-religious person as president. Religion just interferes with a persons decision making, and it clouds the mind with crap.

Wouldn't heaven Become really boring say... uh... after the 54th million year?? You know sitting around and praising the lord all day long and not doing much else. Boy, you think we have fat people now. Dont you think you will hate heaven after all this. Not to mention sharing a place with all the crazy people that I know go to church. man, I'm not so sure I really want to go to Heaven. What do you people think??
