No. Halloween is the christian title 4 the old Celtic festival Samhain. It is a time 4 honouring the dead. The costumes & carved pumpkins were used to frighten away mischievous spirits. As christians believe in good and evil and an afterlife why shouldn't the powerful symbol of a cross be used for this purpose?

If someone can make and display as art a chocolate Jesus, then you can certainly carve a cross into a pumpkin.

What a wonderful idea :) No, it wouldn't be wrong. It's an expression of faith to those who come to your doorstep asking you for your candy. It's your property, it's your doorstep, and it's your pumpkin. You can do what you want and it wouldn't be wrong. If anyone happens to be so intolerant that they become "offended" by your religious pumpkin, then that's their problem. So no, it's not wrong at all.

I've seen people carve in pentagrams, so. I don't find it wrong, but check out with your city's rules.

its not a problem, youre not desecrating or mocking the cross or any other religous symbolism. but if itll make you feel better ask a religous authority ( pastor, preist, rabbi, etc.) their opinion on the matter.
