Why isn't there an NAAWP?

A National Association for the Advancement of White People?

We already have the NAACP. If people want to look at this a racist issue, then it would be only fair to have a NAAWP. Or what about a NAAMP for Mexican people?
Or an NAAFP for French people?
I am just trying to be fair here.

Well French people aren't technically a race. Plus the NAACP was made years about when black (colored) people were downgraded. (Not trying to insult you here but) You do know why it was all started right? Eh you could say there is a need for a NAAWP but one could say white people already have it pretty good in the US. And instead of Mexican it should be Hispanic. I do see what you are getting at though. The NAACP doesn't do much, I don't mean it's just a bunch of old people sitting around gripping about how hard things are, but its not like there are rallies and what not. You know back when the NAACP first started. But if it ain't broke don't fix it.

Sounds good to me- I've thought about this before. And what about White history month- there is a black history month, Hispanic history month, women's rights month etc... Everyone wants equality but what people dont realize is that in doing the aforementioned they are shooting down white people and raising everyone else up. Even at my school there is a black research center but no white research center and there is a women's studies department and nothing for men- I want equality for all, is that too much to ask for?

For the same reasons why there is not a white history month. Or Asian, or Latino, or Native American, or Arabic. Because someone out there has to be special.

because if it wasn't so much racism in this country during the time when the NAACP was formed then black people wouldn't have to have one.....why don't u think about the things that were going on when the organization was formed before u come on here whining about what white people don't have.
