Why is nakedness considered art in history but porn in modern day? Anybody have a reasonable answer for this? I believe that in any form porn is disrespect of the human body. Yes the body is a beautiful thing but keep it holy for it is God's Holy temple.

doctor... saves people if there a surgeon also see people die, and are also required to reject clients if they have no insurance
Lawyer... Help innocent people , receive damages, help guilty people, take advantage of non intelligent people, considered unethical by loads of people
Accountant boring days not interesting work, work at a bank and listen to constant money concerns
Business man usually not intellegant outside the business world, family connections, can be lazy
Politicians- help a huge amount of people with everyday things (taxes, environment and loads of other stuff), need connections to be in upper power, could easily crack under pressure and media and turn totally unethical, pressured by people with all the power.
Teacher- helps people educates, usually inspires people. IN private education earn loads of money have kids that learn on there own through books. Public school constant discipline problems people not wanting to learn. and grading system that doesn't necessarily

Such as the Nation of Islam or the Nation of Gods and Earths? Islam condoned slavery until quite recently, and some sects of Islam continue to condone slavery. Now I'm not suggesting that any one religion is any better or worse than any other. Every religion in the world has had its problems. But I find it ironic that certain African-American civil rights activists have embraced Islam, considering that #1 Islam traditionally accepts slavery, and #2 there are other religions which would better express Afrocentric Pride than Islam. Voodoo springs to mind. Voodoo is the New World version of traditional African tribal religions. It was central to the successful slave revolt of Haiti. So, why don't African-Americans embrace VooDoo instead of Islam?

Always wondered about this one. When Jesus says "An Eye For An Eye" then says "Forgive and Forget" would that not be a contradiction? Does he mean first get the revenge and then forgive and forget? And sometimes I can't forgive. I'm of course not as pure as Jesus. My sister-in-law is a nut case and has done mean and spiteful things to me. I can't seem to forgive her and have no desire to. Does that mean I'm not a good Christian? Any and all thoughts will be greatly welcomed.

I'm gay. I feel gulity. I believe in God.
And I also believe in the Bible.

People say it's what god made what it is but maybe it isn't. Maybe it's just rationalize ourselves. I don't what is true. It's matter of choice. Someone choose to believe it and someone don't.
And I decided to believe it.(Please don't say anyting about my choice. Gay cummunites are trying to say that people are different and we have right to choose about ourselves. So I have every right to make choice for myself.)

But that means I have to give up Sex, My own family, love... .Don't say I can't be straight that's impossible. It's not something you can change.


I'm really serious about it. Lately I'm thinking about surgical options. Like Remove my prostate And vasectomy. So I don't have to tempted. People are fragile to temptation. Is it bad idea? I don' want to have child.(I had bad childhood and I'm sure I'm gonna be a bad father. I probably abuse my children like my father.) What should I do?

From all the questions I see about this issue, know one presents any of the facts Creationists use, both Atheists and Christians alike. All I see is slander and people who just love to argue. Does anyone actually know what it all consists of or just rely on here-say? I never even heard of it growing up granted I didn't go to church that much either and only knew of evolution. Does anyone actually give it an honest review or just knock it just because of it's association with Christianity right away. I know I don't like being lied to. That is why I am posting this question both the Christians and Atheists. I know I am never going to solve this debate, I just want people to be better educated and do critical thinking for themselves rather than follow the crowd on both sides.

I read Evolutionist articles just as much as I do of Creationist ones. So take this as a challenge.

I first came across his name when reading about Paulo Cohelo's experiences with magick in the book about himself called The Pilgrim, in which he does not paint a very positive image of Crowley, and i understand now after seeing just a few other articles and clips about him , that he was somewhat a satanist and quite evil- and therefore am not at all interested in learning about his teachings at all (quite honestly its freaky stuff there) . When on Wiki (and yes, i do understand it can be edited quite easily) I read in G. Gardener's article that Crowley and another lady (the writer of Charge of the Goddess, if i am not mistaken) contributed quite a sum to Gardener's work. Wiccans and those who know, pls confrim the relevance of Crowely having an influence on Wicca and/or Magick. Could some of his wickedness have rubbed off? Or what exactly did he contribute? I am just trying understand Wicca and Magick, so i thought i'd ask- am not looking to offend anyone. Info only please- no links.

About ten years ago I saw a TV program in a Spanish channel in which stories of real life mysteries were told, and I remember them talking about the "mysterious disappearances" which take place in one particular part of a Santa Ana, California highway. None of those people were ever seen anymore. Anyone else remember this, or know anything else about it?
