My fudamentalist friend doesnt believe in birth control. Her and her husband had 5 kids and a 6th one on the way. Thats cool for them...But really, do you think if they have say 12, 16, 18 kids, they might change their mind? I mean, they are missionaries! They cant afford the kids they have already!

It is almost humorous to hear how many times people answer with mormon is a cult blah blah blah...

If you step out of your own little reality for 2 seconds can you not see how your own religion and beliefs sound just as crazy to those that dont share them as you claim mormons do?

Your religion was founded on someone claiming something too. Your religious facts are backed up by your own Biblical interpretations, too. How is what you believe any different or any less cultish then mormons???
Has anyone that think mormons are so crazy or in a cult ever stepped foot in a mormon church and really seen how it is they worship? Did you know that the members of the mormon congregation do all the talks (sermons) and lessons and teaching and so there is no clergymen talking down to them indoctrinating them or brainwashing them because they themselves are the ones teaching the lessons? I really wonder how many people really do have a clue what a mormon church service is like.

About a year ago, my mother decided to allow a traveling Jehova's Witness into our home to give my mother bible studies. She comes on a weekly bases and she is quite a nice lady. My mom wants me to sit down with her when the JW lady comes and listen to what she says and reads about this Jehova, that everybody else refers to as "GOD". Me, being a kind person, sat and listened a few times, but in truth I don't agree with what she has to say. I feel like she is trying to shove her religion down my throat, when I probably don't have a religon. It all doesn't make sense to me honestly. I mean how do we know that what the Bible says is all true. Who actually believes that it rained for 40 days and 40 nights and the whole world was flooded? They thought the world was flat! so it could just have been flooded to what they could see, for all we know. And now this lady is pressuring me to go to the large meetings with others like her. And I politley turn down the invites. I don't know what to do!

The slave went to the first and said, "My master invites you." He answers, "Some merchants owe me money and they are coming tonight. Please excuse me."
The slavewent to the next and said, "My master invites you." He answers, "I have bought a house and am called away. I have no time."
The slave went to the next and said. "My master invites you." This one answers, "My friend is to be wed and I am to arrange the banquet. Please excuse me from the dinner."
The slave returns, "Master, those you have invited have asked to be excused."
The master sends his slave out, "Go out on the street and bring back whomever you find to hae dinner."
(1) who are the people the master invite?
(2) Do you think he will invite them again?

I know women are not allowed to preach God's word, in the church. But I want to know know and understand if women are allowed to preach the Good News outside the Church (outside a body/group of believers, who father in a church building, but in a public place where there is no eliable man present to preach the Good News or unbelieving people dont want to attend a church but know about the Christian faith from me, as a Christian), to other (younger or older) women?

Let's say a younger or older women, or even an unbelieving man, comes up to me, and what to know about the Christian faith, about God and Jesus. Am I not allowed to spread the Good News about Jesus Christ, to others outside the church?
Please help me understand, by including some Bible verses (where I can read up on it) As a young Christian woman, I know I still have much to learn. I need some guidance on this. (My husband is not a believer, so I can not ask him about this)Thank you and God bless.

Acts 5:29 - But Peter and the apostles replied, “We must obey God rather than any human authority.

Do you agree with this. Is it not more Important to Obey God, then the rules of men, then the laws of men???

Our values are being widdled away little by little. are we to sit back and do nothing???

Understand you will stand before Christ and God almighty, what will you say when he asks why you did not defend his honor

when you stood by while he was mocked and you did not even lift a finger. The time is now my Brothers, we must unite and we must Crusade!!!!!!!

Those that answer questions based solely on the header and don't even bother to read the additional details? Do you suppose this is the way they go through life in general, only getting a small fraction of the information they need to make an intelligent response to the world around them? It's really sad.

A film documenting the Apollo moon project using rare footage from NASA contains numerous spiritual references pointing to the existence of God.

"In the Shadow of the Moon" opened September 7th
Apollo mission that flew to the moon and interview them directly on camera. The 10 astronauts - now in their seventies - come across as surprisingly reflective and human. Many spoke of the profound impression they gained from walking on the lunar surface and gazing back at a marble-sized planet Earth.

Riley spent weeks at NASA's film library in Houston pouring through cans of film - many of which had not be opened for 30 years. They uncovered a veritable treasure trove, which the filmmakers re-mastered to produce a film of striking visual clarity.
Apollo 16 astronaut Charlie Duke, the 10th man to walk on the moon, makes an explicit declaration of his faith in Jesus Christ on camera. His spiritual revelation came after his retirement from the space program in the mid-seventies. Thoughts?

wrong for me to request that people either thumbs up if they like it or just leave it alone if they don't? Since I asked shouldn't I be the only one thumb downing if I felt compelled to do so. (Which I don't agree with thumbs down since no answer is wrong it is just opinion) You either like it or leave it alone.
