Well O.J Simpson is having no trouble finding a white woman after he killed his wife. Even he beats her she still love him..

WHAT I DON'T UNDERSTAND IS WHY IS SHE WITH HIM IF SHE KNEW THAT HE KILLED HIS WIFE!!!

most youths that are african and living abroad dont seem to be in touch with thier roots? some don't even know where they are from and some just have basic knowledge of their ancsetry.the language is something else..as some people dont know what language they speak, is there any chance that such a culture will continue? is there anything to pass on to the forthcoming kids? discuss

This is one of my favorite passages in all of scripture. It means a lot to me, but what does it mean to you?

It really annoys me when religious fundamentalists (usually christian) find a gap in a theory and go 'GOD DID IT!' without any explanation? Like it isn't ok to just say 'I don't know, I'll try and find out', instead God has to fill the gap that further study will probably find a scientific answer for, causing the religious community to be proven wrong once again?

I mean it's going on with the 'evolution/intelligent design' thing right now. Someone has mananged to fabricate a hole or two in the evolution theory and before you know it BAM! God has been shoved down your throat once again.

Why can't these people learn that the proper default stance on a scientific theory is 'unknown', not 'God'?

Any time a person would bow before an angel, the angel would always say not to worship them. Unless, of course, that was the Angel of the LORD.

Now then, how is bowing not considered worship? How is praying not considered worship?

The men in the following verses had works and yet were not saved. They obviously believed in Jesus as they say they did these works in His name. Yet He told them to depart from Him. Is it possible that Jesus sent them away because they trusted in their works and not in Him? If works can save you why weren't they saved?

I was raised in a Catholic family. Attending church was mandatory and we relied on the Priest to deliver the message to us. I was never taught to study or even pick up a bible and read the message myself. It finally occured to me that the only things I knew about Jeasus was what I was taught in many years of catechism classes, which wasn't much. I was taught the Catholic doctrine, I was taught to pray to Saints, I was taught how to say the rosary. I was never taught how to study the bible. I'm a educated and intelligent grown woman but every time I pick up the Bible, I'm lost. I get frustrated and put it down for months, only to pick it up again and again with no idea how to understand what I'm reading. Please note, I am not putting down the Catholic Church; my entire family is Catholic. I just need more than what I'm getting from the church at this point in my life. I know this may sound sad, but can anyone give me guidance.

Well, maybe not even just asking for their hand in marriage, but maybe asking another person to go out with them, "go steady" (be boyfriend and girlfriend), go to prom, etc.

But people always tell me I'm too old school because I don't think it's a woman's job to ask a man to marry them, and i don't mean "suggesting" marriage, i mean, get down on knee (maybe not in this manner) and ask "will you marry me?"

It just seems a little weird to me, and i also don't ask men if we can go out or be boyfriend and girlfriend, I also don't find this is a woman's "job", although this is changing in today's society, and sometimes I wanna change but it still feels weird, what do you think?

Proverbs 31:8-9

8 Speak up for those who cannot speak for themselves;
ensure justice for those being crushed.
9 Yes, speak up for the poor and helpless,
and see that they get justice.


Keep in mind the person who is an oppressor, the person who is taking justice from the poor and the widows, may not simply be wiling to give up his power



So are we to give up if it leades to conflict???

Or are we to obey the command of God even if it means that we Gather our forces for War???

God wants us to obey, he never said its ok to disobey him, if it keeps you away from battle

If we are saved by works, what is considered works? What do we have to do? When do we know if we've done enough to be saved?
