For the sake of argument, let us say I believe in the Christian Heaven, well, since the only alternative is Hell, it would be a hard pick, since the Christian version of Heaven is praising God all day...not my idea of having a good eternity. Now, if it was, say, my interpreting of a Good Place, where you have whatever fantasy you want, kinda like the Matrix, except without the Agents and what not, then yes. Besides, wouldn't self-sacrifice make you go to Heaven as well? But this is just hypothetical....^_^

Many believers have done this very thing and yes, I would too. Let's say that Christians were being persecuted on a grand scale and everyone that was on a church membership list and their extended families were rounded up by the thought police. If I were told, in front of my mother and sisters (not Christians) and in front of my husband and children (Christians) that I must denounce God or die, I would gladly choose death. Why? Because I could not denounce truth, it would hurt my witness to others if I did otherwise, and in hopes that my unbelieving family members would see my faith and believe. I have nothing to lose, except this earthly life, and everything to gain.
To answer the "what if": I am saved by the blood of Christ, so it is impossible for me to not go to heaven, regardless of what I do, moot point.

Since I know I'm going to heaven, hypothetically speaking yes, I'd be willing to die if it meant someone I love would go to heaven (like my in-laws, who don't believe in Jesus).

No because heaven is a myth. We're both going to be dead in the end anyway.

If I believed there was a heaven, yes for someone I love.

No.
Instead I would share with them what the Bible says and how Jesus died for them and that He is the "gate", then once I have completed what Jesus has commanded me to do it is their decision to make, my obligation is fulfilled.
I am NOT the savior of anyone and I do not want to be. Jesus already died for them. If they are not going to trust in Him, I am not going to try to take His place. That would be highly disrespectful to God.
God bless you.

Since there is no such thing as heaven, the question is moot.
