I have for about a month and a half purposely listened to my local talk radio station to educate myself on this phenomenon of conservative talk radio
Unbelievable...to sum it up in one word! I have never heard such ranting and raving! And its all of them!
And how does someone saying "on loan from GOD" (Rush Limbaugh) not offend anyone?
And on one particular point, Rush Limbaugh has been defending his comments about the "Soldiers" he made like his life depends on it, when in fact he did insult many American soldiers with his comment, (....real soldiers want to be in Iraq!) And the fact is that many do not want to be there or go back! Are these not real soldiers Rush? Simply because as much as they would want to have the backs of their friends and fellow soldiers in the field of combat, they do not support the political justification of this war, they are not real soldiers?
Just how brainwashed are the Americans who support and buy into this kind constant propaganda?

Christina Milian, Zoe Saldana, Rick Gonzalez, Rosie Perez, Merlin Santana, Sammy Sosa etc... are all of African descent but it seems that most people just label them as Hispanic or Latino and not black. Why? But mixed american blacks like Halle and Alicia keys etc... I always called black.

In a recent post about the pope, one girl replied: "I don't understand how people can cry, scream... ..in the Pope's presence. He is just a man, too, not the Lord reincarnate...."

Let me put it simply: Christians, if you could somehow go back in a time machine and meet the apostle Peter, how would you react? Would you listen to him? Would you respect the fact that he was given his apostleship by Christ himself? Can you deny that you would be at least a little excited to met this Simon Bar Jonah who Jesus renamed Peter?
Well, that's how we feel about the pope. We believe he is Peter's successor. (Here is a list: http://www.newadvent.org/cathen/12272b.htm )
Jesus Christ is our Lord and Savior, the Son of the Living God. The pope is a man. But, the pope occupies an office we feel was established by Christ himself (Matt: 16: 17-19) and we respect that. That's all there is to it. Here is more info about the pope if you're interested: http://www.newadvent.org/cathen/12260a.htm

The crux of what I'm trying to say is this:

Since time began, there has been more suffering than love.

I.e.,

In Humans: natural disasters, wars, famine, illness and injury, torture, genocide, rape, discrimination, slavery, disability, emotional issues, pain, hatred, fear.

In the animal kingdom: brutalilty in the food chain (especially in juviniles), animal testing, domestication (unnatural and stressful), pain, fear.

Other worldly: Hell; the most intense suffering concievable.

It is not then entirely irrational for me to think that God favours suffering over love?

Do you think this will have any effect on the chavs who insist it's their 'right' to smoke through pregnancy (and around the newborn) or will they carry on regardless.

Is it really necessary to hate another because of their beliefs? Do you have to force feed your beliefs down everyones throat, judging them every step of the way? Does it not say Judge Not Lest Ye Be Judged?

People of the world does this mean that all mankind is our brothers or just people of the same religion, race, church, family, country, Sex orientation... The reason I ask this question , I heard some Christians stating hate for a certain race of people..., I can't see this if the scriptures above proves true. Please explain.

... with the words 'round yon virgin Mother and Child?

If so, then what's with all the arguments that Mary wasn't preserved a virgin after Jesus was born? Isn't that a little contradictory?

Just curious.

The Catholic Bishops (and Eastern Orthodox Bishops) are the direct successors of the Apostles through the laying on of hands. There is an unbroken line of 265 popes going back to Peter himself. In this way, the authority to forgive sins was handed down. But again this power is understood as coming from God: "All this is from God, who through Christ reconciled us to himself and gave us the ministry of reconciliation" -2 Cor 5:18

It seems that many today find any arguement that they can to deny the exsistance of God. They search text books, science journals, and even looking to UFO's to deny the exsistance of the creator. My question the Atheist mindset is this, How according to your worldview can you justifiably distinguish Good from Evil? You can only do so by being inconsistant with your basic beliefs. Remember you must borrow ideas from the Christian worldviews to even state your objections to this arguement.
