Retired, but I'm very active in doing my volunteer work. I probably keep more busy doing that than when I was actively employed. And I get more pleasure out of it too.

I'm still working full-time. I am manager of a charity for older people and it is demanding but fullfilling work. I am 55 years old and I do get very tired. I can't retire until I am 62 years 6 months because of the UK equalisation of men and women's retirement age!!

officially, I am retired BUT I have never been so busy. Help look after mum and mum-in-law ,gardening, cleaning the house more thoroughly and then there's the 11 grandchildren - I don't know how I ever found another 40 hours a week to go to work!

I am retired and enjoying every minute of it..retired 9 years ago..worked 33 years as a R.N 20 hours a week..now spend my time knitting baby hats for the hospital, doing water aerobics, reading, answering answer questions, and traveling in our R.V...some days there just isn't enough hours to do all my fun things..

Working 20 hrs per wk. I can't physically do more. My hubby is 67 and retired. He loves it. I'd go nuts, I think.
When I developed severe arthur in my back and had to quit the job I had, I was devastated emotionally and financially.
Now at least I can contribute something and don't feel like I'm a waste of air anymore.
LOL
Also, thanks to my job I have daily inter-net access so I can talk with all of you.

According to the gov't I'm retired but my body is still "working". Running a house and picking up after a 13year old and a 63yr old husband is a lot of work!

Still going strong although I could retire in November. I am not 62, so I probably will work until then.

I retired when I was fifty. Currently, I am restarting another business. It is an opportunity that I cannot pass by! So, I am NOT retired now and starting another business.
