Hi i have heard that there are some places where you can donate cloth that you don't use anymore ( of course cloth in good conditions ), so my family and i have a lotttttttt a cloth and dont have space in the garage lol. Some of them are almost new or never used.....but we don't know where those places are.
We live in Los Angeles and would like to know if someone can provide any direction or place name to go and donate the clothing.
I will apprecciate your help

is the dl chronicles on dvd yet, because I have direct t.v which doesnt carry the here channel and can't find it anywhere in stores and dont want to have to get cable to see it.

i found a lot stuff on yahoo answers that quoted the q'uran and it said stuff about killing and stuff like that, saying that islam required people to kill to spread the religion but no one ever talks about how much violence theres on the bible and in the bible theres at least just as much stuff like that and people just interpret it a different way, so it pisses me off that when its something that says on the bible or the torah people just ignore it but when they talk about islam its always negative.
i went to catholic school but im dont believe in any religion, religions dont unite people anymore theyre just the foundation of more hate and racism. am i the only one who sees this? i respect people who believe in god but y do some people think they have the authority to say my religion is better than urs? y do people attack islam and say that its just a violent religion when the torah and the bible r full of the same violent stuff?

What is God to you?

Is he Jesus? Is he G-d? Is he Allah? Is She the Goddess?

To me it doesn't matter---every culture has their own beliefs.

In America, we are conditioned to believe the only God and the only truth is Christianity...just as Muslims are taught that Allah is the only way...just like ancient Egyptians were taught that Horus was the "truth" and the "light"...just like Persians Believed in Mithra (who by the way was known as "the truth and the way", had 12 disciples and was dead then ressurected.)....

Why does it matter what God we believe in?

Seriously---take your hatefulness and stuff it for a moment---as long as we have faith, love, and understanding what's the problem?

Has anyone EVER considered that God, being all powerful and all knowing, may have appeared differently to different people?

Why is that such a hard concept?

Why is it SO hard not to project our hatred and beliefs on others?

I have seen alot of people profess to follow Jesus but they arent down for the hardcore stuff of Him being the only way to heaven. My question is how do you reconcile believing the words and deeds He did in terms with the peace loving hippie Jesus, but discard the words that came out of His mouth in regards to salvation? This is an honest question, I am not flaming, and I would appreciate answerers be kind to one another's beliefs.

I saw someone ask if atheists believe in love, and wasn't surprised to see all the hateful attacks directed at the asker. It really seemed like the asker hit a little "too close to home", as they say.

Another answer asserted that love can be observed in the laboratory in the form of hormones and neurotransmitters. Personally, I think love goes far beyond the effects of chemicals such as oxytocin, etc.

It's very interesting that in the absence of the chemicals secreted when one feels what some people call "love", love still remains.

I eagerly await your answers, and anticipate a large number of personal attacks. Please limit your insults to one of the following: "idiot, moron, dolt, retard, twit, dumba$$, or stupid". Any other insult might induce an unpleasant excretion of chemicals from my brain which will make me feel bad :(

if not, how do you explain the fact that the bible scholars have been talking about so many things happening or that happened since the bible was written but one of the most influential people of all time (the last messenger of God; Mohammed (PBUH) was never mentioned?
