if not, how do you explain the fact that the bible scholars have been talking about so many things happening or that happened since the bible was written but one of the most influential people of all time (the last messenger of God; Mohammed (PBUH) was never mentioned?

You all ned to read the answer of "B"... whoever that is has the correct answer to this question and you all owe it to yourselves to go check those verses in the OT and NT, it will not cost you a thing...
Even though "B" copied the article published today in islamicity.com :) but still... good work :)
often when this question is asked everybody jumps to conclusions thinking the mention of the pophet should be by name, well we all know Jesus (PBUH) was prophecied in the OT, how many times was his name mentioned? the answer is NONE... but still if you look closely you know it's him... well look closely to these verses.. this may change your life!
Good work everyone.. may God help us all and guide us to the right path...

No.
There are lots of influential people who aren't mentioned in the Bible.
Don't you folks think we Jews and Christians have corrupted the Bible? Why do you look for Mohammed in the corrupt Bible? What good would it do to find him there?

a) There is no need for the Bible to mention Mohammed since the alleged creator of Islam never existed in the first place. (The place where he was allegedly born was founded over a century after his alleged death. It is equally easy to prove that the rest of his life story is total fabrication.)
b) Several religions founded since Islam have proclaimed their founder to be God's Last Messenger. The Q'ran fails to mention those prophets --- despite the fact that they practice a more pure version of the teachings of the Q'ran than Islam does.

It is made clear in the New Testment that Jesus was that prophet spoken of Acts 3:22. See also the additional requirements of the prophet in Deuteronomy 34:10-12. These only fit Jesus.

Biblical scholars talk about things that happened after Jesus Christ died on the cross and was 'resurrected' in terms of today ... Muhammed wasn't born until 600 years AFTER Christ died, and the Bible was written in the first 300 years after Christ's death ... so Biblical scholars CAN NOT talk about Muhammed, and there is NO mention of Muhammed in the Bible. Christ is in the Quran, though ... as a 'prophet of Allah (God)' but NOT as God's only begotten Son. Yes, Muhammed was 'influential' but so was Gautama Buddha and other great religious leaders. That doesn't matter ... a Biblical scholar is talking about how the Bible affects the present, not about how the present affects the Bible ... so talk of individual people born AFTER Christ died that are not 'directly linked' to that story is impossible.

Muhammad wasn't mentioned in the bible for the same reasons that airplanes weren't: neither was around at the time the bible was written. As for Muhammad, since the Qur'an has errors (some of them extremely serious), the only possible conclusion about Muhammad was that he was a fraud -- indeed, the most successful fraudster in human history.

Mohammad came after 450 years(approx) of Jesus Christ and started Islam. It is believed by muslims that Jesus also one of the Messanger and Mohammad is the last messanger.(Also Quaron states this). But for Christians Jesus is not only son of God but also God. He came here as man and died for all of our sin and resurrcted after crucification. Without accepting Jesus in your heart, your sins wont go away. And there is no way to reach heavan/eternal life.(Quron accept Jesus resurruction )

The prophet Mohammed was born 500 years after the Bible was written by Caesar's apostles (writers), so no, he isn't mentioned. However, Jesus of Nazareth is mentioned 32 times in the Koran. The Koran calls him a perfect man of God, and salvation (forgiveness) is to be sought through him.

That is probably because Muhammad came 600 years after Jesus.
By the way, not everyone believes that Muhammad was the last messenger of God.
With all the violence and terrorist activities all over, I am sure we will see another Messenger of God very soon.
