I'm doing this research paper fo my Eng. 102 class, And my topic is the Wicca religion, so I was wondering, if those of you who practice it could tell me what's it about (besides being a witch, and doing witchraft/wisecraft)? And what u do or believe? That kind of stuff. And thx, I would greatly appreciate it.

between the two groups in practice? Doesn't appear to be. Both groups feel they will go to a better place if they die in battle, so they feel free to kill without conscience. Christians have murdered as much or more than Muslims over the course of history, so are hardly in a position to be self-righteous.

Lioness in zoo kills man who invoked God

A man shouting that God would keep him safe was mauled to death by a lioness in Kiev zoo after he crept into the animal's enclosure, a zoo official said on Monday.

"The man shouted 'God will save me, if he exists', lowered himself by a rope into the enclosure, took his shoes off and went up to the lions," the official said.

"A lioness went straight for him, knocked him down and severed his carotid artery."

The incident, Sunday evening when the zoo was packed with visitors, was the first of its kind at the attraction. Lions and tigers are kept in an "animal island" protected by thick concrete blocks.

What are the requirements for getting married in the Catholic Church. If you can, please state your sources.

Also, is this statement true: marriage is a sacrament, and, for the sacrament to be properly received, the Catholic partner(s) in a marriage must be in good standing with the Church. This not only means normal Church attendance but also avoidance of scandal. So, for instance, a couple who are living together may not be allowed to get married in the Church until they have spent sufficient time living apart. (There are exceptions—for instance, if the priest is convinced that the couple is not engaged in immoral behavior but is living together out of economic necessity.) Likewise, a Catholic politician who supports policies condemned by the Church (such as the legalization of abortion) may be denied a sacramental marriage.

I saw that on a webpage and wanted to check its validity

Do all you Christians out there realize much of the King James Version, particularly the Gospel According to John, was written in Classical Greek?
I studied Classical Greek, and the exercise was the translation of the above cited book. It was very eye-opening to me when I began to translate; even within the first sentence there was already an error in the translation. As I continued with the activity, I was horrified by the inaccuracies I found, one after another.
Who, exactly, were the translators? They were the king's own "scholars", that's who.
Why is it religious fanatics don't do their homework?

I have been waiting for this moment for a month. Then suddenly, it showed up! I am so excited. No one will ever look like this except for ME (I hope). I also hope that the rest of us with the same problem get it resolved real soon, too.

do you ask your date about their specific beliefs or non-beliefs on the first date? or when? does knowing your date's beliefs or lack of beliefs or animosity towards your beliefs drastically change your impression of that person or not? would you still continue to date that person even though your beliefs are very conflicting and cause arguments? why or why not? and if you have a significant other, do you both have different religions/different beliefs? do you think a Christian can get along with an Athiest and set aside their differences for the sake of love or is it a sin or against your beliefs to date that kind of person? explain your opinions.thanks.

“Father, I know that I have broken your laws and my sins have separated me from you. I am truly sorry, and now I want to turn away from my past sinful life toward you. Please forgive me, and help me avoid sinning again. I believe that your son, Jesus Christ died for my sins, was resurrected from the dead, is alive, and hears my prayer. I invite Jesus to become the Lord of my life, to rule and reign in my heart from this day forward. Please send your Holy Spirit to help me obey You, and to do Your will for the rest of my life. In Jesus' name I pray, Amen.”

Dispensationally speaking of course...
Some say it refers to the generation of the "end times" and it is a future (or current) event. The most recent dates of "This generation" (last 100 years) began during the begginning of WWI. The next date was around 1947 when Israel was established as a nation again. Well taking the 40 or 60 year rule of thumb for a "generation that would mean that that time frame has expired. By my understanding of modern Dispensationalism the time for the generation now is 1967 when Israel took control of Jureslam once again. Once again the rule of thumb (in bible terms) for a generation is 40-60 years. Well it is near the end of 2007 so the 40 year rule of thumb is out. Are those of you that believe we are living in the generation of the "End Times" still holding on to the assumption that 1967 is the magic number for "This Generation"?

I myself find all this junk amusing since I have began to study the Bible with out Dispensational dogma attached.
