Please note: "learning about" does not mean "converting to".

I love learning about all religions. My mother is Catholic and I went to a Catholic school, although I do not consider myself Catholic now. My father was Methodist but converted to Southern Baptist. I have read extensively on Wicca and various pagan religions, and to a smaller extent on Buddhism and Taoism. I am currently reading about Judaism and I would eventually like to learn about Islam.

I think it is important that we make every effort to learn about other religions. Ignorance leads to intolerance, and how many wars are fought because of intolerance? I fully intend to educate my children about a variety of religions and let them make their own decisions.

Asatrur/Heathen Reconstructionism

The cultures of Northern Europe and Southern Europe have many cultural differences that are reflected in the basic philosophies underlying the religion. Understanding the culture is IMO a basic requirement to understanding the religion as well as the other way around.

I've found some aspects of Zen most interesting so far. If I have to pick one I haven't learned about I guess I'd pick Zoroastrianism, to better understand the roots of the modern monotheistic religions that dominate the part of the world I have to live in.

EDIT: Hmmm... I might look into that Diagoras fellow too.

Christianity - it is the largest religion in the area where I live.

But, I do love learning about all mythologies. Egyptian, Greek, Roman. I've taken an interest in Hinduism as well.

There isn't any. I wish I had more time for playing music, and living in a particular part of Oregon, but I don't need any other philosophy or religion to learn about. I am plainly content.

Jehovah's witnesses and Orthodox Jews. Both seem very interesting to me. Though, I'd never convert. Go Christianity!!

Buddhism or Hinduism. Since I have never encountered any evidence to suggest the existence of any sort of deity, I am presently an atheist.
