between the two groups in practice? Doesn't appear to be. Both groups feel they will go to a better place if they die in battle, so they feel free to kill without conscience. Christians have murdered as much or more than Muslims over the course of history, so are hardly in a position to be self-righteous.

No difference. Both are guilty of murder. It doesn't matter which to this date has killed more, they are both still causing problems & yes still murdering! Religion is hell on Earth! Most religions are self-righteous & have no room in their own beliefs to even consider other ppl. As if their beliefs are so fragile they might be compromised if they acknowledge other beliefs. Sad

Actually, if you just look at Islam vs. Christendom, what you say is true. But this is a Eurocentric perspective. When you look at the Muslim campaigns on the Indian subcontinent, massacring Buddhists and Hindus who DON'T have a history of waging "Holy War", you'll see far far worse conduct. Because Hindus and Buddhists, unlike Christians, were "idolators", the Muslims treated them FAR worse and murdered them by the millions.

Kind of shallow reasoning if you don't take into account the reason for kill, don't you think. Or are you saying that any country, like the US, that involves capital punishment in its legal system is no different than Islamic terrorists blowing up a bunch of innocent people?
