Ever since man was created (how ever you believe we were created), his religious beliefs have changed... from earth worship in the neo-lithich, polytheism in ancient times, to mono-theism up until modern times with each claiming that it's predecessors had it all wrong... now Atheism is gaining a foothold on some members of society...

but doesn't that mean that eventually Atheism itself will evolve and be replaced just as previous relogions were and be thought of as a footnote in illogical thinking by primitive man thousands of years in the future???

Indo-European languages include English, Spanish, Russian, Hindi, Persian, French, German, Bengali, Urdu, Irish, Lativian, Norwegian, Punjabi, Greek and etc.
I am curious why they are classified as a one big family of Indo-European.

Are there any common features that merge them into one family?
For instance, Russian and Urdu or English and Punjabi seem totally different language to me so I don't know why they are called as Indo-European languages.

On our path of self-discovery, let’s go on a Spiritual Retreat and get away from the stresses and strains of life. What kind of retreat shall we go for: a quiet environment with guided meditation exercises, a mountain venue or a peaceful, riverside setting. Do we want ritual and ceremony and workshops or just to be quiet, on our own with each other?
Where shall we venture today?

I was reading the Bible, and ran across this in Revelation;

18
I warn everyone who hears the prophetic words in this book: if anyone adds to them, God will add to him the plagues described in this book,
19
and if anyone takes away from the words in this prophetic book, God will take away his share in the tree of life and in the holy city described in this book.

Considering the fact that most folks don't have a clue to what the book actually means, isn't this, 'damned if you do, and damned if you don't'?

I was wandering into my local supermarket and three christian folks accosted me with the normal pleasantries about me going to hell. So being polite, I reply "no thanks, I chose to be an atheist" thinking that statement encapsulated perfectly why I didnt want to talk to them.
Turns out nothing short of rudely walking away from them would put an end to the preaching. I was quite miffed that I had to be abrupt to 3 strangers because they wouldn't take no for an answer.
I dont like barging passed people and I would rather not enter into a religious debate every single time I meet these kinds of people, I think they are generally beyond the stage of logical assessment already. So if you were trying to convert a random passer by what would be a reply that would make you stop the yabbering?
PS :
I do NOT want to tell them that I already have a small bearded man in my heart. I'm pretty sure the average christian wouldn't want to claim atheism just to shop in peace.
I do NOT want to be rude.

- Polonium halos are an interesting anti-evolutionary statement. (Read about it)
- A clock has a complex sistem, made by a person, it did not came by chance - cause and effect. So the earth and universe was made by God, it did not came by chance - Big Bang.

Be objective. I do not believe fully in God, but I am not an atheists. I still search.

I read Nietzsche as well: "God is dead" and other theories. I agree with these cause: God is dead for an atheist, but he is alive for an religious person.

Atheists and religious people as important. No one is less important. It does not matter what religion you have, it matters what you do.

Marrying the wives of adopted sons? It is important that Muslims can marry the divorced wives of adopted sons [Sura 33:37], yet it is forbidden to adopt sons [Sura 33:4-5]

Can angels disobey? No angel is arrogant, they all obey Allah [16:49-50], but: "And behold, we said to the ANGELS: 'Bow down to Adam'. And THEY bowed down, EXCEPT Iblis. He refused and was haughty." [2:34].

Are angels protectors? "NO protector besides Allah" [2:107, 29:22]. But in Sura 41:31 the angels themselves say: "We are your protectors in this life and the Hereafter." And also in other suras is their role described as guarding [13:11, 50:17-18] and protecting [82:10].

Wine: Good or bad? Strong drink and... are only an infamy of Satan's handiwork. [5:90, also 2:219]. Yet on the other hand in Paradise are rivers of wine [47:15, also 83:22,25]. How does Satan's handiwork get into Paradise?

I used to think before that females are moral, innocent beings. But my notion changed when I had my circumcision at age 14. I was mature then about 5'6'' tall and can be mistaken for a college kid. I also had some hair down there and needed to be shaven prior to the surgery. The nurse who shaved me is a 20+ female and she can not stop smiling (a dirty smile) as a dropped my shorts. After my circumcision, the organ should be cleaned daily and the gauze be replaced. I protested to do it myself but my mom forced me to let the nurses do it. All of the nurses were females. I was really ashamed as they touch and applied antiseptic on my organ. To make matters worse they never close the curtains so my organ is exposed to the whole room. They seem to enjoy touching it since all of them was always SMILING. On one occasion, a female doctor ,with no apparent reason at all, gone to the room to checked my organ out as another female nurse disinfects it. They all have that pervert smile.

Many Christians accept the Muslim claim that we both worship the same God. They claim that they call him Allah, while we call him God.

The problem with this is two-fold. First, history and archeology show clearly that Allah was worshipped as a pagan moon god long before Mohammed came on the scene. Robert Morey, author of The Islamic Invasion, explains: "Islam's origins have been traced back by scholars to the ancient fertility religion of the worship of the moon god which was always the dominant religion of Arabia. The moon god was worshipped by praying toward Mecca several times a day, making an annual pilgrimage to the Kabah which was a temple of the moon god, running around the Kabah seven times, caressing an idol of a black stone set in the wall of the Kabah, running between two hills, making animal sacrifices, gathering on Fridays for prayers, giving alms to the poor, etc. These were pagan rites practiced by the Arabs long before Muhammad was born."
