People who do that are selfish OR want to get attention.

It is the same with their car stereos blasting out crap, uh, er, I mean rap for miles down the road. If I wanted to listen to that stuff, I would, I don't need some moron blasting it out all over the countryside to enjoy whatever. I never notice anyone with huge speakers in their car or on their phones blasting Rock 'n Roll, Oldies or Classical Music for all and sundry to hear. So why do I have to put up with a bunch of moron's doing that?

Hi Roxy ,it gets on my nerves ,but what I find is worse is when lying out the back door lazing in the sun and enjoying life, when you get the neighbours at both ends of the street having a barb-que and you end up listening to different lots of music and all the bawlling and shouting you get when the drink starts kicking in it just ruins what untill then was a perfect day

Some years ago when mobiles were just on the ascendancy I was travelling to London on the rush hour special and this infuriating woman kept making calls to all and sundry, she wasn't talking she was shouting as though everyone was deaf, a gentleman opposite her was getting very annoyed as he was trying to read some papers from his briefcase, he asked her repeatedly to lower her voice, as the journey progressed she got loader and the man was getting very upset, on the last time of asking she told him to shut his f****** mouth it was nothing to do with him we were all stunned, he grabbed her mobile and threw it out of the window, she went howling down the train in search of the guard, on arrival at Kings Cross the transport police were waiting and they took him away, as they did so all the people in the carriage gave him a standing ovation,

I think it's worst when to phone takes off you get 40 seconds of the tune at least before they answer it with "I'm on the train" in a loud voice that the whole carriage can hear

Im not a senior, but it annoys the hell out of me. Why cant they listen on headphones? Its really selfish to impose your noise on people around you, I dont want to listen to someone elses music in an enclosed space like a bus, I do wish they would be banned from playing music without earphones.

It drives me to distraction, and I have hated it for a long long time, not because I'm getting older, it was the same when those personal radio and cassette things came out, oh boy could I have flipped when on my way to work many years ago, and those flipping tinny sounding thing buzzing in my head at 7am on the bus.. Grrrrrrr

No music is allowed on our
buses except low volume and
ear phones. It causes a
driving hazard.
They can talk on cell phones
but that also has to be low
voice.

Yes this drives me mad. But what I think is even worse is someone talking loudly on their cell phone so we can all hear one half of the conversation. Sometimes they are so loud that they do not need the phone at all, everyone in a half mile radius can hear them anyway! SHUT THE **** UP!!!!

They COULD also choose to use the earbuds for it. They are only being extremely rude to play it out loud in such a packed environment!

But my own personal worst hate is seeing couples (of whatever sexual preference) "making out" while on a packed train or bus. To all of you I say GET A ROOM!!

You could include car drivers who thump up and down the high street with their amplifiers blowing the car roof off, and joggers who run along the roads where there is no pavement with their Ipods on and earphones stuck in their ears.
