Yes and I will tell you why. I lost the chance with my soulmate the first time. It has been over 40 years and I still regret my stupidity at the time. I should probably fought for her and I didn't. Yet at the same time, I learned that nothing would have changed. I was getting ready for my second tour of Viet Nam when I let her make up her mind to go with another guy. I made 4 tours altogether and I realized that my way of fighting would have probably put her present boy friend into the ground rather than in a hospital and I would have been shunned by everyone if I had done that. But, I would still relive my teens to see if I could have changed my outlook on life better.

Yes - from 14-16 and only those two years. They were phenomenal and I had wonderful experiences while living in France....I danced with an 'farm' troupe of the Paris Opera Ballet; went out to dinner and dancing with the love of my life then who was a musician; lived in a dormitory at school with great friends; traveled with my parents to multiple countries; had a great little doggie [miniature cocker]; and was SO happy!

No, not my teens!!! That's when I got pregnant and got
married.
It was after I dumped the jerk that my life really got started.
My 20s and 30s were the best!
I didn't get serious again until
I was 40, but didn't stay serious long.
I have never come back to
center and I want to stay out
here till I die.

Jilly just said exactly what I was thinking....I would only want to go back if to change a few things like, not marrying so young, and to have lived it up more in the 60s before settling down

Without even thinking about it. I had the best years then. the others were good, but we were just all so happy. No worries at all. I had a great time from about 15 to 27. Bring em back!

They were they best of times and they were the worst of times. I used to say heck ya if I knew then what I know now......but not anymore. Can't ever go back, can't re-create was was...no guarentee if we did anything different it would turn out better. So no. Right now in todays world you couldn't pay me enough.....not in a million years.

yes ... I used to be so corageous .. or maybe just less prudent .. it feels just like a few weeks ago ..
times moves fast when one is not conscious of it ..
oh and what fun ... I'm still having fun but not as much
the sense of adventure used to be paramount ..and even tho'
it is still present it has dimmed somehow
now I need more valid reasons then in my early teens
to go wild ......

Knowing what we oldies know now, well armed with that wisdom we would have a ball, bring it on I think they say. But sadly we can't except for my sister who is still in her teens, forty years on. Still suffering the angst as well.
