Very powerful

2007-10-03 20:44:20 · 7 answers · asked by Moe Hawk 2 in Religion & Spirituality

God created everything.

God hears my prayers and answers them.

Through my worship of God and my obedience to Him, my living soul will gain entrance to Heaven after I die.

Neither the souls of good people nor the souls of bad people will every die, but will reside in either Heaven or Hell for eternity according to God's judgment of them.

I am a sinner.

I am not worthy of Gods grace.

I do not doubt God and I believe everything the Bible tells me.

(please see the additional details of this question.)

Females have two X sex chromosomes and males have an X and a Y sex chromosome. The Y chromosome is passed only from fathers to male offspring through the sperm. If Jesus was born of a virgin woman who would presumably have only X chromosomes, then where did Jesus get his Y chromosome?

If you say that the Y chromosome came directly from Jehovah, then doesn't that imply that he really is an Old Man With a Beard? Also, if the Shroud of Turin is genuine, and there is a DNA sample from Jesus himself, then isn't it theoretically possible to isolate God's own Y chromosome? And wouldn't it be possible to perform some sort of genetic analysis of God's Own Chromosome and determine what sort of physical characteristics that Jehovah would have (beard, Semitic features, etc.)?

If you looked at all the paintings of Leonardo da Vinci and studied his history, what would you really think ?

Mary Magdalene or an effiminate androgynous St John.
The painting was coded but not in the way the author thought but simply testified to Leonardo's procilivities of the homosexual kind as evidence in other paintings like an effeminate St John the Baptist and masculine looking androgynous females in other paintings.

How could they miss what is obvious from his entire record of paintings that he cast the "beloved disciple" as effeminate, as he would have liked it ?

Sure we have free speech, sure we have a right to sue for any reason. School boards also have a right to set up a certain standard when it comes to what is allowed in school and what could potentially be distracting to the learning environment.

So, the parents who now want to sue yet another underfunded school system are screaming free speech. Does this mean that anything on a tshirt should be allowed as not to infringe on the free speech of anyone for anything. Under this premise a KKK shirt should be allowed. A tshirt that depicts aborted fetus' should be allowed. A tshirt that supports pedophilia should be allowed, etc. The list is huge as to what should be allowed under this logic.

So what are your thoughts on this and do you believe this students free speech is being stunted in that environment?

It seems that a married couple can engage in sexual acts after sundown?! What about the desires of the unmarried muslims? Of course it goes against all religious belief to engage in any sexual activity before marriage. That is understood CLEARLY! The issue at hand is that there are many more singles who have the same human desires of those that are married! Why are we to be treated at a greater disadvantage than those who are married and get to indulge in sexual desires after the sunset!

In plain English (Aside from the normal sin of everyday religion) Why can't I have sex after the sun sets?

I DON'T NEED THE AVG. CLOSE MINDED RESPONSE SAYING SEX IS WRONG, AND THAT IM NOT MUSLIM...YADA, YADA. (I am Muslim, and college educated)
This question engages the open minded, and challenges the term wife today compared to when the Prophet Muhammed was around! Is there more of a sin placed upon me for engaging in sexual acts from sundown to sunset if I am unmarried, including masterbation

Imagine yourself an alien from a distant galaxy who happens to visit Earth and was suddenly accosted by an evagelical Christian proselytizing about Jesus being the saviour and that only through acceptance of him as its personal saviour would it be saved ... I mean first off, does the whole Christian doctrine even apply to a non-Earthling? The concept of a world outside our own never even crossed the minds of the people who were supposedly inspired to put God's word into writing, so how could they have anticipated a being from another planet showing up? Is heaven then exclusively for humans who accepted JC as their savior?? I mean what sort of paradigm could you possibly even use to explain the concept of Christianity to this alien that would allow itself gain entrance to the Kingdom of God? The alien never went through the whole human experience and would never comprehend the human pathos that leads to our acceptance of the biblical teachings....
