my fiancee n i decided to go ahead n get married even after i told the truth today that i lied about something stupid and he told me he loved me and my family thought that he was going to hate me but instead he said lets move to canada and get married before we leave tomorrow at the court house, the only thing is he is 19 and im 20, he is muslim and i am christian but it seems like no matter what we do to not b together we always are and i want to marry him so bad and my mom talked hella **** to me and him today and called my dad in missouri and they dont even talk (they've been married for 35 years and separated 4) i dont understand y she is all on me when i have a 30 year old brother who has 3 baby moms or more wit 4 kids not married, 22 year old sis with a 3 year old and my sis who is 19 just found out she is 7 weeks pregnant atleast i want to get married, i live in columbus, ohio and moving to montreal canada is that to big of a move by sat? is it too soon to marry?

It probably depends on how long you've known each other. I don't know how Christian values work but have you lived together before? If you really love him and you're aware of the differences that may lie between your religions then I'd still recommend that if you're moving away from family, you try living together independent of your family's influence before you agree to a commitment like marriage.

Marrying a muslim? Hope you like wearing a burka. Just don't cross him, you may get your throat slit. It is your life to ruin. Sounds like you'll end up worse off than your family.
The Bible says not to be unequally yoked; do not marry outside your faith, you are bringing trouble on yourself. Will you raise your children to be suicide bombers? Have you asked any Christian that you have respect for about this? Do you notice that atheists AND christians are united here on Yahoo in their thoughts toward you?
You obviously don't have any respect for your family....they don't sound real idealist themselves....do you have any respect for God's word known as the Bible? This marriage is NOT in line with God's word and should not take place, but you are the ripe old age of 20. May God have mercy on your soul, do you intend to convert to his religion or convert him to yours? Do you have any Christian convictions whatsoever? Do you attend church anywhere regularly? What is the reason for the move? Does your fiancee have work or family in Canada? Does he have a job or an education to get one?
You are about to make the worst decision of anyone in your family.

I think you have things you may need to work out as far as having so many kids with different parents. I could not sum up all the things you should address here but you should really debate about what didn't work before and why will it work this time.
I am one that says when you take a person in marriage it is becoming like blood and no matter what you don't let the relationship end. All negatives are worked out as with family.

damn .. i dont know about u and his relationship .. but there are so many conflicting points in this question .. first of all if hes a muslim , and hes marrying u in a mosque in a religious way, which is called NIKAH .. then by ALL religious means the marriage is VALID .. he has right over u physically and emotionally .. and u too have that right .. but the thing about secret is .. whats the reason behind him keeping it as a secret?. what kind of person intends to marry a WOMAN and not tell his family ? . . sorry to say, sounds fishy .. and he cant see u until hes religiously married and wants to express his love PHYSICALLY???? WHOA!! a big red flag there .. if i wanted to marry a christian girl, which i did once ... i would FIRST off inform my family .. i will tell her to inform her family .. then i will marry her in a court .. after that i will take her to a mosque .. to reaffirm my marriage in islamic way, then i will take her to a church to reaffirm the marriage again in her christian faith ... and in NO WAY will i ever touch a girl physically before i get married to her .. and for a muslim .. its wrong to express love physically until he/she gets married .. tell this guy to open up all his hidden information.

Do you know exactly what you are doing? you are obviously, from the way you wrote the question, uneducated. Before you make this momentous jump you should really gets some advice. you will find, despite being told to the contrary, that you will be a second class citizen, if you think that your husband will treat you as an equal you are mistaken.

well islam allows muslims to marry muslims and also the people of the book ie christians and jews one who believe in the truth of islam of one good and if their are pregnency complecations one would want u to get maried as soon as possible to have a legitimate kid the one not ridiculed in society
