I have just been away for the weekend and spent a lot of money on clothes I didn't really need, but wanted. I don't really feel bad, but it got me thinking. What have you ever bought that you SO regret buying, and what did you do about it?

because there's this person who emailed me asking me why I don't believe in God's words (he means the KJV Bible) after I posted that I don't believe that the KJV is an accurate translation of the Bible.

who says the KJV is the authorized version of the Bible anyway?

when you know that the Bible forbids it? I don't count the initial two reproofs / rebukes as association. I'm not saying I haven't associated with any in violation of Scripture either.

i honestly dont understand people that celebrate Christmas, the "supposed" day of Jesus' birth, celebrate halloween, the devils day. It makes NO sense at all! I personally dont celebrate either traditionally on my own. yea i go to grandma's for christmas an still go to church, but i dont participate in the pagan traditions...tree, lights...etc And as for halloween! I scorn it! Why would i want to dress like a demon or idol an walk around threatening people to GIVE me food that will defile my body by making it fat and unhealthy an actually call this stupidity fun?! anyways, if you have an opinion or answer...lemme' know.

Q)How did the universe come to exist?

A) By Actions driven by laws.

Actions need an event handler. If anybody understand programming, in order to excute an action (e.g. pop up window), you need to CREATE an event handler (e.g. onclick event) in order for an action to take place.

In other words, for ANYTHING to happen there has to be instructions for that event to take place. The programer First creates the event handler with specific instructions for the desired action occur.

So action without an event handler does not exist. Event handler without a programer does not exist.

So before there was the Universe there was a programer, and that programer is God.

It is impossible to have event handlers without a programer.

I KNOW that the Seniors category is NOT for the POLITICAL NUTZ, BUT I at 69+ years young, feel politically discriminated against, as Ms. Hillary R. Clinton has stated that she has a plan to pay $5,000.00, for each baby born !
Because of tumors in my past, I can not father children, 1. Is this discrimination against us "mature" folks, 2. Can this be made "retro-active", as I do have 4 children, born before the tumors / cancer set in ???

When I'm face to face with Almighty God, will I wanna dance in awe of His majesty? Or will I cry for all the stupid things i've done that have broken His heart? Will i run into His arms and hug Him? Or will i wanna run from Him?

I am a strong believer in God, Jesus, an the Holy Spirit, but I'm just wondering what it will be like at the end... how will i face Him.

I'd like to know an opinion from every angle of religion.

life, like, whether or not you wanna keep being single, etc. I've met a lot of people as said above. They're really annoying. And, they know that they've crossed the line into other's privacy. But, they keep pushing.

There's one day, such and such people were just so obnoxious. They're really slutty. They just kept asking me about my own privacy although i'd tried to say to them very politely to just mind their own business. But, they just kept pushing and pushing. They did that for like again and again and again. It seemed and seems FOREVER!!! Once, i said sth very rude about their behaviour that went really over board. They made their faces as if i was the one who did mistake or sth. And at that point, they really pissed me off. And i thought to myself "What!!?!?!?!? you said i made the mistake?? This is my own privacy!!" Gee...if you were me, what'd you do about this? Please help!!! 10 points for those who can answer best! Thank you in advance. ;)

This question, which at first sight might not seem difficult, is really one of the most difficult that can be asked. When we have realized the obstacles in the way of a straightforward and confident answer, we shall be well launched on the study of philosophy--for philosophy is merely the attempt to answer such ultimate questions, not carelessly and dogmatically, as we do in ordinary life and even in the sciences, but critically, after exploring all that makes such questions puzzling, and after realizing all the vagueness and confusion that underlie our ordinary ideas.

He was certainly willing to prove his existance in biblical times by performing some almighty miracles. Why were they all done so conveniently before the bible was written? Why doesn't he do them anymore, and prove his existance now?

Carnegie was an influential figure in his day. He was a very successful business man and a respected philanthropist. He was known as a strong nationalist and he spoke openly in favor of the US as a world leader. The United States profited greatly as a result of his avid support for its economic growth and its new worldwide political recognition. Andrew was also an atheist.

Would Carnegie's enthusiastic nationalism benefit or harm the present day interest in creating a peaceful world under a new world order? Would his atheism help or hinder progress toward the goals of today's international politics?

This Gospel was accepted by most Christians during the first 2 Centuries of Christianity, its main place of acceptance though was the churches of Alexandria, upto 325ce. It was circulated within the writing of Iraneus(130-200ce) as part of his support for the unity of Jesus and as an answer opposing the Pauline Christianity of the established church, which had incorperated the 'Pagan Roman religion' and the 'plutonic Philosophy' into the teaching of Jesus. During the Council of Nicea, the Gospel was deemed against the new orthodx of Christs trinity with God and the Holy Ghost, thus they ordered the destruction of any copy found(along with the other 300 Gospels that were in circulation at that time, which did not fit the new Logos ideology) . Pope Damasus re-iterated this oder during his reign as the Pope(366-384) he was supported by the Bishop of Caeseria, whom included it in his 'Apocrypha' ( latin meaning Hidden from people) it made its way into the personal library of Damasus!
