I am going through a divorce and have been constantly praying and changing my life to get closer to God. The other day I had a dream where my husband had come over and sat down with me and asked me if I loved him and if I wanted to work things out, the dream felt so real, could God be telling me that things will work out for us eventually?

I have had other dreams, such as my father and family celebrating, my dad was well dressed and looking so healthy, at the time my dad was on dialysis and very pale and weak, and two days later, the hospital called and they had a kidney for him, now he is healthy and happy. I also had a dream when I was 2 months pregnant and inthe dream I saw my daughter at the age of 2 and I knew her name and everything, I was almost positive I was having a boy, but as it turns out my dream was right, I had a girl and her name is the same as I called her in my dream, and she is now 2 and looks exactly as I had dreamed. Before 9/11 I also had dreams of planes crashing into my house but didn't know what it meant until after 9/11. How can we know what dreams mean and prevent things from happening?

My heart tells me that my husband is a good man he just has bad influences around him right now, and that while we were married he was a great husband and father doing whatever he needed for us, I was the one who was too controlling, but now that that I have changed he is afraid of trying again.

Well I have had dreams and they come to pass. Sometimes they are like the life you experience everyday, Sometimes they are in spiritual places. But they always come to pass. Basically all my dreams are around my actions and I personally believe that I am suppose to put my trust in God that everything will turn out fine.
I feel that what I really need to do is humble myself instead of trying to take control of the situation. I am a spiritual Christian and one of the worst of the worst sinners saved by Grace. He basically tells me to be content in whatever state I'm in. And to keep myself from flipping out is a miracle in itself.
But I have to trust God and He will bring things to pass for my good instead of me driving it into the ground like I have a bad habit of doing. All our worries and concerns we are suppose to turn over to Him and let the peace of God rule in our hearts.
I get my messages from anything and everything in His creation. Everything is in His control and He can use anything to get a message to you.
I hope I helped with any part of your question.
Take care and may God bless you spiritually.

It could be, or it could be your subconscious is telling letting you know how bad you really feel about it. Broken marriages are never easy, but there are certain things that make it perfectly OK for the marriage to be broken. The bible state a husband should treat (and love) his wife like Jesus treats and loves his church. If that is not the treatment you are getting or CAN get from this man, you need to send him on his way, forgive him and live a good life.

My answer, search your heart. What does it tell you? More often than not, our intuition is the voice of god if we will only hear it.

You know you have a message from GOD, when you are down on yourself, and then you feel like you are being listened to by the creator of the universe (maybe you are praying) and then all the sudden you get a rush of emotion. All the sudden you just feel better, because the creator of the universe just heard you out, and though you didn't HEAR him... you would take that rush of emotion and then call it good enough proof that God has spoken to you, forgiven you, heard you, etcetera.

usually dreams are interpret by someone with decernment and the gift of Dream interpretor. Now God wont give you a dream and expect for you to know it. SOmtimes its just our self conscience... either feeling guilty or feeling worried

You should be very careful, because not all dreams or visions are from God. If the dream corroborates Scripture, then it is probably from God. If the dream communicates ideas that violate scripture or have only temporal significance, they are from Satan.

when i have visions in the form of dreams they are usualy like watching what will literaly happen in the future. and they usualy surround my family and they almost always happen unless something is done to prevent it. but somethings are not meant to be stopped. i saved my dad from dying in a horrid crash just to watch him die 3 months later from something else. god doesnt always give visions to prevent them but to prepare.

We all can receive messages from GOD.

Trouble is - not all of us are listening.
