I think it's about time. There is no known deaths from marijuana use and its been proven that the long term effects of alchohol and tobacco are worse. Then why are they legal and marijuana is not?

Marijuana should be regulated and taxed; the government can actually profit from it.

Why isn't it legalized already?

What is their political agenda for trying to explain the origins of life? Why are the methods they use "fiction"? It's claimed that scientists use fictational methods as fake evidence that points to evolution or the Big Bang theory. Are scientists controlled by the Devil to destroy the Christian faith?

I would seriously like to know why Creationists think a scientific theory is the "enemy" that you have to destroy.

PS
I only want serious answers, please. Why would scientists make this stuff up? What is the secret agenda scientists have for spreading the "lies" of evolution and the Big Bang theory?

Ok so today our social studies teacher was all like 'Some people believe that jesus did not walk the earth because there is no SCIENTIFIC PROOF'. and then he would say something like "the bible may be holy, but it might not be scientififc, for example, who is there to say that Adam and Eve were the first 2 people on earth? we werent there were we? so how do people know?" so what i am asking you, is 'what is your point of view of this?' what do you believe in more,...Science or Faith/Bible? and if you have a website link or something [not wikepedia] that has ACTUALLY scientific proof that jesus walked the earth, PLEASE give it to me because I would want to show that to my teacher.

Please, Thank You, and May God Bless ^_^

This woman at church is about the same height as her husband but then she wears these high heels and she looks taller and I don't like it. It's like she wants to be over her husband and the Bible says woman is to be under the man. I don't like it at all.

I recently saw an answer from a Jahovas witness woman. I remember talking to a man that said only 144,000 will get into heaven. This woman said the same thing.

If I remember my Bible corectly, it says that the 144,000 will come back with Jesus to rule. It also says that they new not women. That can only mean 3 different things.

1. They will all be female sodimites. In which case, men should not be Jehovas witnesses.

2. They will all be male sodimites. In which case, women should not be Jehovas witnesses.

3. They will all be virgins. In which case, there should be no Jehovas witnesses at all. As soon as you have sex after marriage, you have litteraly kicked yourself out of heaven, so why get married. Even more. No Jehovas witness should be witnessing to anybody because they will want to get to heaven themselves after staying a virgin.

BUT there is a 4th. The men also say that the 144,000 will be men. Why would a woman marry a Jehovas witness man?

Lately, at school and other places, I have been around some agnostic and atheist people.
So, people will start debating about religion.
And some of the agnostics and atheists are telling me things that seem true. Like how christianity is made up and a bunch of different things.
I am really starting to get scared that I am gonna stop believing. I really don't want to stop, but it just seems like it is getting harder to believe.
What can I do?

I have just spoken to my teenage grandson on the phone, and when I ask him if he enjoyed his holiday to France, all he said was "Yeah."
In my books, yeah is not a word, and anyone with half a brain cell knows it and doesn't use it. I'm awfully worried for him, even though, when I started shouting at him as a result of what he'd said my daughter told me to calm down, taking the receiver off him. Is usage of the aforementioned affirmative a sign of stupidity - does anyone agree with me, or like my daughter says, am I overreacting?

I just read an answer to a question I answered a few days ago. The answer that spawned this question is so totally out there, but I've read other Q &A's here that seem to at least insinuate that the Jew's who pushed for Christ's death did something they shouldn't have, or that it even somehow condemned ALL Jews forever for the actions of a few.
Am I alone in thinking that there was a plan, and that part of that plan was that Christ had to die. And that even though He voluntarily GAVE His life - no one could TAKE it, that there were circumstances surrounding the WAY, the PLACE, the TIME in which He gave His life that HAD to be fullfilled? That perhaps there were even certain people that had to play a part (for lack of a more reverent phrase) in the course of events?
I've always thought that the people who were there, were there and did what they did for a reason, and that just like today we are here at this time and place for a reason, so where they. That there were people who, for

cmon 6 of them beat up ONE student. who cares if the student went out later on that night.. that doesnt mean the assault didnt happen. that doesnt mean that there wont be any long term affects from being beaten till you were knocked out cold. if 6 white kids beat up one black boy then jesse jackson would be DEMANDING the jena 6 get max sentence. and thats a fact. black people sure only use that race card when its to your advantage. the black people that support these thugs disgust me and you deserve to be in prison too for conspiracy. if you support these gangsters than you are scum just like them. no if ands or buts about it.

Homosexuality? In all of 'evolution' two men cannot create a baby...nor can two women. If procreation is physically IMPOSSIBLE...then doesnt that at its most core derivative, classify the 'behavior/preference" as NOT NATURAL and further, that the evidence of it, should be defined as the very least as a highly recurring yet unreproducable 'mutation' that cannot propogate itself unless through 'natural' processes ie..a man and woman?

So has it been decided people fighting to work and not be killed in the only country because of their color is some how related to people wanting to have sex with the same sex. That is insulting to any intelligent mind. This is leeching on a legitemate human right issue to one of personal preference. I don't believe in violence against gays but I am against them coming after our Christian doctrine.

What are your thought on my opinion?

Why does hatred only move in one direction, for me it is because I see those hating the Church as being on the same journey as I? I was once where they were, thinking I hated the Church when in fact I was fighting against the Spirit moving in my life. I failed to recognize that I was being blessed. In the process I have learned more than anything else that it is impossible to love God and His Church and at the same time to hate those who despise His Church. Perhaps it is the fullness of faith, of worship or practice but most probably the exercise of His greatest commandment to love for all humanity for as He loves us we are to love others. The greatest expression of this love and the fruit of our conversion is the antithesis of our flesh which is to love our enemies. For, it is written, the Christian is to love even those who hate His Church. May the Lord bless us all?

In Christ,
Fr. Joseph
