I just read an answer to a question I answered a few days ago. The answer that spawned this question is so totally out there, but I've read other Q &A's here that seem to at least insinuate that the Jew's who pushed for Christ's death did something they shouldn't have, or that it even somehow condemned ALL Jews forever for the actions of a few.
Am I alone in thinking that there was a plan, and that part of that plan was that Christ had to die. And that even though He voluntarily GAVE His life - no one could TAKE it, that there were circumstances surrounding the WAY, the PLACE, the TIME in which He gave His life that HAD to be fullfilled? That perhaps there were even certain people that had to play a part (for lack of a more reverent phrase) in the course of events?
I've always thought that the people who were there, were there and did what they did for a reason, and that just like today we are here at this time and place for a reason, so where they. That there were people who, for

whatever reason were prepared beforehand to be able to do what HAD to be done. It just doesn't seem to that something as important as Christ's death would be unplanned. Yes, He had His agency, but just as I believe that His disciples were hand picked prior to their births, I think so too were some of the other people who played a major part in His mortal life. They were there to teach us just as much as the disciples were.
Am I the only one who sees it like this?

I don't "blame" anyone for Christ's death. Instead, I thank God for Christ's crucifixion. You're absolutely right about things going exactly as God intended. If Jesus wanted to stop the crucifixion, He very easily could have. Although He was going through more pain and suffering than any of us can conceive, He did what He knew was necessary for our salvation. Jesus gave Himself as the living sacrifice as atonement for our sins and I am grateful for it. I now know that I am not doomed to spend eternity in hell as a result of my sins.

this is only nonsense doctrines that were forced upon the easy human beings for 2 millennia. they do no longer understand even if or not they're coming or going. Judaism and Islam make some experience and they are fairly consistent; Christianity makes no experience in any respect and this is effective & quite on the floor. decrease than the floor this is thoroughly rotten. i'd say this is the most ridiculous faith in the international (only my opinion). If human beings spent as a lot time doing theology and apologetics on Lord of the earrings, i'm certain that e book may also change into infallible. to partly answer your question, hypothetically if Jesus slipped even as wearing the pass, it might want to be sturdy for each Christian to assist him up and to push him up the hill the position he can carry out his wonderful sacrifice. and they might want to attempt this of their heart on a daily basis. And it is evidence advantageous that the imperative Christian doctrine is blunders. @@ only idea to characteristic some words someplace interior the Christian cleansing soap opera there is to be got here upon an excellent and undying faith, and it is the genuine practise of Jesus. the religion ((of)) Jesus no longer the religion ((about)) Jesus. besides the undeniable fact that the Christians messed it up by utilizing attempting to reconcile it with Judaism. Even interior the Christian bible Jesus reported that you save the old wine in old wine skins and new wine in a sparkling wines skins, and both might want to experience free, and (((do not))) blend 'em.

To declare that the Jews were in any way responsible for the death of Jesus is irrational, at best.

The Romans were in total control and they certainly weren't going to take requests from the Jews over whom to crucify! It's absurd to suggest otherwise and at odds with what we know about the relationship between Romans and Jews at that time.

The accounts of the way Jesus met his death were written after the fact and there are various reasons why the early Christians did not want to point the finger at the Romans, thus this spurious fable about the Jews being guilty for the death of Christ.

Has anyone ever ponder this issue of Jesus being nail to the cross:

If the Jews didn't nail Jesus to the cross, who else was left to do it? The Gentiles. Even if you don't consider the accounts written in the Bible, it was a 50/50 chance either way.

So why be mean to the Jews because of it?

AS one person already pointed out here (and I agree with him 100%) our sins as indivduals put Jesus on that cross. Therefore, every person who has every lived help put Jesus on the cross. WE as indivduals are just as guilty as the person of that day that used a hammer to put those nails into Jesus.

As it is written, while we were yet sinners Christ died for us. He had us on His mind rather than His own pain. He truely loves us!

I am not a christian and part of your question answers WHY I don't accept this religion. Jesus was MURDERED "by" the Romans and Jews of his day for the FAITH he taught the priests called blasphemous. THEN christian faith "backs up" the blasphemies of the Jewish doctrines.

Concerning your statement about the condemnation of the Jewish descendants, it is NOT because Jesus was put to death that condemns the Jewish peoples, but their own ACTIONS which DO. Prior to Jesus being put to death he TOLD the Jewish peoples the Lord's GRACE would no longer be given unto their peoples for their disobedience and false doctrines. Read it for yourself in Matthew 21:43 - 45.

Jews did not push Pilates decision to cause the crucifixion of christ.
Pilate himself washed his own hands and said jesus was blameless. according to the bible. Later jesus appeared to pilate and pilate became a member of the christian occult.
so called.
no, there are 2 men who were High in pharisutical and saducean leadership that were plagued by the vengeance of christ. only those 2 were guilty of crimes against christ. There was also a band of men who made oathes of death against killing jesus.
but most people dont see everything that is written to understand the politics of jesus life.
there is so much more to say.

I agree that there was a plan, and that Jesus had to die and "be put to death" (although, yes, no one could take it from Him) But I believe that Judas, Pilate, the Sanhedrin, and the rest still had their agency and chose what they did and will be held accountable for them. I don't hold anything against the Jews as a people or a religion.

The Jews that condemned Christ and forced Pilate to have his killed, fulfilled prophecies in the OT. Christ was sent to mankind to hear about His Father, our Creator. He knew many would not believe. He freely gave His life (human life) for all of our sins. His death opened the gates of Heaven for us. It's up to us to believe and accept it.

It was the Jewish high priests that condemned Christ with blasphemy, a sin and was punished by death. They forced Pilate into a corner and he ordered the Roman soliders to scourge Him. When that wasn't enough for the Jewish priests, Pilate had Christ put to death. That was a political event for Pilate and the Roman empire.

I am Catholic and don't blame anyone for Christ's death. He was sent to die for us sinners and He fulfilled the prophecies of the OT.

Of course not! I blame the corrupt authorities of the day, both Roman and Jewish. But in a real sense, we all killed Jesus, if we hadnt sinned He wouldnt have had to die.
Any Christian should know that God has had and still has a very special relationship with the Jews. They are His chosen people.
God bless

i'm not exactly proud of the fact that i blame them , and i know it's not an alright thing to do , but yeah , i still blame the jews .

the modern jews obviously didn't do anything , it was the ones from back then . . . but why would you want to follow a religion that is responsible for the death of the most amazing person in history ?

i'm not trying to get anybody worked up over my answer , so don't even think about cowing around after you've read it .
