Much of the time yes. People who bother to take the time to know you will form a judgement based on you the person. If you base your life on magazines then we may as well all just end it all. Some of the thinnest people I know, starve for most of the time and are not happy, so is it worth it just to loook good?

Definately!! You are judged by the way you look. And unattractive people are treated differently than attractive people for sure. If you look good you are more readily excepted,it doesn't matter what your personality is like. It's all about your looks. That is why there are so many eating disorders and low self esteem because many people just don't feel they fit the bill. They don't feel they look good enough to fit into our society.

People judge you based on your appearance unless they are motivated and have the time to take a deeper approach.

Yes, we do. It's been studied and proven that attractive people with the same qualifications will get the jobs over less attractive counterparts.

Unfortunately there are many, many, people who do, but I think it's more of a 'social' thing (i.e. a 'clique' of trendy, beautiful people, would have reservations about getting to know someone that doesn't 'fit' their 'ideal', of what superficial beauty is); rather than something that would influence someones progression in their career, etc.

Just my opinion! : )

yup! i think we all judge people on their looks to a certain extent, no matter how hard we try not to. once you don't treat people any different based on the automatic judgements your brain makes you get past it after talking to them
