...evidence of disintegrated, or fragmented personhood in most people? Which is to say, we need a section labeled "Religion and Spirituality" because we view our faith as a partition of our lives, instead of being fully integrated into our person.

I'm new to Yahoo answers, today. I've been reading some posts in different catagories. Is evolution considered a religion? I thought evolution was a scientific theory and should be in the science catagory. Also, is Atheism a religion? Is it just a bad day or is there always this much animosity on here? Who decides where questions post?

Ok, so
1) An abortion, you say, kills a baby by removing the embryo.
Well,
2) Chastity kills MANY MANY babies. You kill them by not allowing their eggs and sperms to join.
The sperm that WOULD have joined with the egg (if you had done it) is blocked, and therefore that baby never comes into existence.
Because of your actions.
By not going to bed, you prevent that baby from being born, just as you would have if you would have gone to bed and gotten an abortion.

So if your religion is against abortion on the account of "murder" shouldn't it also be against chastity?
That 16 year old girl who got pregnant and was branded a murderer for not having the baby...well the same effect would hav happened if she wouldn't have done it in the first place. The baby wouldn't have happened either way.

So isn't it foolish to be against abortions b/c they are "killing" babies where by that logic, keeping one's virginity until marriage is also "killing?"

In Mathew 28:19, Jesus left instruction with in disciples to baptize all men in the name of the Father, Son, & Holy Spirit, but Peter stood up and gave each man the plan of salvation in Acts 2:38 which says, Then Peter said to them, "Repent and let every one of you be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remession of sins."

Remember there are no contradictions here, just a "little" misunderstanding!

If the Roman people say that Hadrian was the best Emporer, so be it; noone else has the right to decide, against their word, that Augustus was best. Same principle. Any logical comments?

I've been Googling "Is racism a sin?" for about 10 minutes now, and all I get is ideas, not scripture. I would love to find a place in the bible where is says its a sin for one person to feel superior over another race. Something like, "All are equal, none are below or above you accept Me" (Blah, xx-xx). That would be so helpful. Any scripture reffering to racism would simply pwn. Well good luck guys!

I am so sad when I read the news lately. Every day there seems to be incidents of violence and hate. 4 yr old babies being stabbed to death in the street, teenagers stabbing each other, youths stabbing innocent citizens that dare to stand up for their selves. Why do we know nothing but hate. How did this happen? When I was a teenager one murder was a huge deal that was publicised until the culprit was captured, now murder is a by-line and we are no longer shocked by these incidents so have reverted to digging in the closets of our celebs for the shock factor. Murder no longer upsets or surprises us, it has been as widely accepted into our society as paedophilia. Where's the love, the compassion, the sincerity, the kind gestures, the friendship? WHat have we become? Does this bother anyone but me?

If God came to us in the flesh...as Jesus Christ...and you met Him, and witnessed firsthand all the miracles that He performed as His Apostles did...and by witnessing this believed in Him...wouldn't you want to share everything "GOD" taught you with the world? Also if God did these things, meaning of course that Almighty God certainly exists, then couldn't His Holy Spirit, by His infinite power, act within His believers to make certain what He wanted recorded about Himself was in fact accurate so that His interaction and expectation for the world was preserved for all mankind's benefit...past, present and future?

The problem with atheists is that they think of christians as dim-witted and ignorant. The problem with christians is that if you do not believe them you are already condemned to hell.
The good thing about christians is that the way they live generally makes you a better person. The good thing about atheists is that they're free from religious "rules".

SO WHY CAN'T WE FKIN GET ALONG!?

There's no need for atheists to make christians believe in evolution, and there's no need to call atheists satanists.

Another question why is it that when atheists argue over something, they mainly focus it on christians?
And vice versa?

There are actually people who deny the holocaust from ever happening, and there are survivors today, so imagine in a hundred years from now what people will say. Do you think this is bad for the future, because there are leaders that believe it didn't happen so they will make their generation have the same insane thoughts?
