Hi Dennis
I am afraid it is the age that we live in, little or no respect for the Lord Jesus.
Possibly it has to do with the fact that unbelievers will hate the very name of God and Christ and will do what they can to upset Christians.
I for one am glad to be counted a fairy tale believer, because I know that it is not a fairy tale.
I have been saved by a homosexual, so be it. However I know that is untrue as well.
One day the people who hate God will have to give an account of their lives to the very God whom they insult.
Chin up, don`t be put off by these folks or upset.
Jesus Christ will still welcome them if they bow the knee to Him.
Praise the Lord!!

Denis this is exactly how i feel at times. It is upsetting the way some speak of the Lord Jesus. Some ppl speak with so much venom, hatred and resentment - and this is when i find R&S difficult. I talk to the Lord about it and i'm remimded our struggle is not against flesh & blood but against principalities - the ruler in this dark world - spiritual wickedness, but only for a time ) I'm all for free speech and we each have opinions - but venom against Jesus is also against us and vice versa. This srcipture explains all: Ephesians 6: 12....
I also receive strength to come back and be the person my God intended me to be - fight the good fight Denis - Jesus said we His followers will be persecuted for His name's sake - and this is one mighty blessing and priviledge for His names sake. Take heart brother - we will see His glory...

Robin, good answer...

No this is not democratic. We should all be able to express and debate our opinions without abuse etc. I am an Athiest and very happy with my beliefs. I have read and studied alot about religion, know the bible really well, have read and studied alot about evolution and still i am an Athiest. I have answered a fair few questions in R/S category and have had violations for my beliefs, also nasty emails which i find odd coming from people (a minority i know) who are Christian etc. The only time i tend to fight back and get a little shirty is if someone tries to convert me and tell me i know nothing.
Each to their own and whatever you want to believe as long as i am allowed my beliefs and opinions too.....

We will never get any where with this kind of behavior, Jesus to all said that if you hate your brother you are still in darkness, Love is what covers over a multitude of sins.

If you have a problem with a question or an answer, report it. Check the guidelines, hate speech, ranting, threatening, etc are all against policy.

What's democracy go to do with human behaviour. It assist in people living together but it doesn't change humanity.
Go at it chaps and chapesses - get it off your little chests and you will feel better - or do they?

Atheists don't care. Their only goal is to eliminate Christianity any way they can. Are they the anti Christ that some people speak of ?
