Luke 12:15 where he was sending a message about covetousness. and told the story of the rich man who tore down his storehouse to build bigger ones. When God said you are dieing tonight so who is to have your stuff.
What was the message Jesus was teaching by this story?

Their block voting and codes have made R&S nearly impossible for other religions and spritualities. I would say if they admit their religion is the same kind of Myth that they apply to our religions.

But can you open up a Bank account under titles? So when Jesus said in Mathew 28:19 to baptize all nations in the Name of the Father, Son, & Holy Spirit, did He literally mean the titles? Peter understood in Acts 2:38 who the Father, Son, and Holy Ghost was.

The reason why I'M asking this is to see if there are any other "African Americans" such as myself that feel that this entire situation has been blown totally out of control by people like Al Sharpton, Rev. Jackson, Martin L. King lll, and many others of "our" race. Now maybe I'm wrong but where I come from when one individual is attacked by two or more people , those that are on the attacked are considered a "gang". Color has nothing to do with what is going on in Jena,LA and our "elders" know this.Racism is alive,I believe, because of those that continue to live in the past. The young man ,Mr. Bell who is incarcerated, has a prior juvenille record. This is NOT his first run in with the law (so reports say). And all those people that descended down on Jena,an estimated number of somewhere between 25-60 THOUSAND, selling t-shirts, b-bque, paid to load up on buses and so forth, why then didn't anyone contribute at least $5 apeice to his bail to help get him out

One night not too long ago, I woke up in the middle of the night like I usually do and reached over in the darkness for my eyedrops. I fiddled around trying to get the top off and finally succeeded. I squeezed and squeezed on the bottle and couldn't seem to get any releif. I finally turned on the light and realized I had a bottle of Crazy Glue in my hand. I had used it earlier that night and left it on the nightstand. Do you think there might have been a miracle performed that night? Can you imagine how devastating that would be if I squeezed Crazy Glue in my eye? Tell me some other ones if you have any.

I have put myself in the shoes of Jilly (although they are quite HUGE- but that is by the by) she of the Jiggling Jugs Inn fame.

You may have heard that she struck up a 'friendship' with an aquaintance of ours - He of the Broad Manly Chest and Tree Like Thighs who would chop down a small forest before breakfast for fun.

Well because of this huge compassionate Scottish heart that beats within this chest of mine (had he bothered to look it's not half bad actually - for me years) - and I understand that a lassy like herself cannot help but atttract the laddies. And she is to be shown mercy for the error of her ways.

The fact that I have a hoose full o' chickens who will likely never lay another egg having witness ed wit the two o' them were up ta behind the byre is another thing altogether.

And the poor wee puppy believes the McTealc was just rubbin' the wee dogs nose in the fact that he has just so recently been robbed himsen! Another victim then!

I've read the Bible and it really didn't make any sense to me or prove anything to me. I didn't even think it was particularly well written or entertaining or relevant to modern times. So I don't understand what makes people believe the Bible, or books like it, is the word of God. It seems popular for people to refer to the Bible for proof that the Bible is true, but that doesn't make sense to me. That would be like me writing a research paper with the paper I'm writing as my source.

So what is it that makes people attach divine significance to these religious books?

When religious leaders selectively take from a prophet's words and ignore the spirit of the teaching. When they project their hatred for others into the expression of religion. Surely this is creating a false idol, an image of a vengeful prophet that never existed. This must be blasphemous? No prophet I have ever read suggested that his followers kill others or themselves in the name of religion. The prophet suggests peace and the followers wage war. Surely this is even worse than being a doubter or an unbeliever.

I don't think this way which makes it hard to answer these questions. Could someone please help?

Thanks everyone.

Do you think that some people assume that certain actions are racist, simply because they don't expect courtesy from other ethnicities?
For example: Someone of a differnt race that you don't know looks at you, and you assume that they see something negative and not positive.
What is your opinion?

I have got to know a french girl who has recently started calling me "ma puce". I know it is an affectionate term but I always thought it was something that you called your boyfriend/girlfriend husband/wife etc, not a friend? My french is ok, but not native level, so if a native french speaker could tell me what this means exactly it would be great. She is good friends with my boyfriend so I cant ask him as he will get worried. I am also starting to get worried....thanks for your help.

Malachi 2:10 says, Have we not all one Father? Has not one God created us?
I ask previously will God lie, no God can not lie and will not lie. Jesus was exalted because His name (God's name) alone is exalted.

Hear O Israel: The LORD our God, the LORD is one! In that day His name one!

and some Muslims, the Kufa, refused the version he picked? I've read this in a few different sources so far like:
"Islam" by A. Guillaume
"Understanding Muhammad and the Koran...Islam for the Western Mind" by Richard Henry Drummond.

"ibn Abbas asked Uthman what possessed him to place Surat al Anfal, one of the mathani, with Bara'a, one of the mi'in, join them with no bismillah between them; and place them among the seven lengthy Suras. Uthman replied that often the Prophet received quite long revelations. He would call for one of the scribes and say, 'Put these verses in the Sura in which so-and-so occurs.' Anfal was among the first of the Medina revelations and Bara'a among the last. Since its contents resembled those of Anfal, Uthman took it to belong with it, for the Prophet had died without explaining that it was part of it". ("al Itqan" by Jalal al Din).

Doesn't sound protected and it seems others should be credited in addition to Muhammad.

Thanks.
