Swinging from the tree limbs.
Actually from the Jewish tradition, the story of Adam and Eve was a tribal mythology about the origins of when Men became more than just Animals, but sentient beings capable of having an understanding and relationship with a Higher Power. "Adam" represents that first man. As the tribe was patriarchal, God became a He and the woman's role became subjugated. Once one becomes aware, one can never return to 'the bliss' of being unaware (the Garden of Eden).

Adam and Eve, the first man and woman on this earth, lived in a spirit world with Heavenly Father. They were finite, intelligent spirits and eager to come to earth and gain a mortal body and begin the Plan of Salvation that God had authored.

The Garden of Eden housed Adam and Eve, the FIRST humans that God created. "The God said, 'Let us (in reference to the Trinity) make man in our image, in our likeness'..." Genesis 1: 26 Another verse which is a repeat of the previous, "So God created man in His own image, in the image of God He created him, male and female He created them." Genesis 1: 27
Note: the Bible says nothing of disembodied spirits, nor of a "heavenly realm". This chapter discusses the creation of mankind on Earth, where God created Adam and Eve.
