why dont we all respect the other ppl religion & stop blaming the Islam for every reason that there is a boom akiller must be islam some times they just dont know how to solve things & they blame us the Muslims for it , we are peaceful we just dont like some 1 to ruin our reputation & disrespect us & our religion & if u want our petrol for free take it just stop we want to live in peace stop attacking us every where .

Terrorists attacks have taken place because some people in the West have SAID something that some idiot extremist took offence at. The result of that was INNOCENT PEOPLE DYING FROM A TERRORIST BOMB.
I admit that I have no respect for ANY religion that kills in its Gods name. Whether its Muslim, Islam, Christianity or Jewish or all the others I have missed.

i understand where you are coming from and realize that i will probably feel the same way you do if a group i belong to were being called terrorists. I also understand that labelling al quaida and people in the middle east is an easy way of trying not to solve the real problem about why america is hated and what changes WE need to make as a country to protect ourselves (and by change i do not mean attacking everyone else). Having said all this, you have to realize that islam does have alot of violence in their religion which they justify using the jihad as an excuse. I have also come across lots of muslims who say al quaida is doing something wrong but if it is for a jihad then it is excused. Also it is understandable that because america and most of the west is under a blatant attack by an islamic group that we are not going to be embrassing the religion at this time, just like we did not embrace communism when we were in the cold war. So in summary, al quaida and the middle east may have a point that we need to furthr analyze instead of just fighting back but also, it will be abnormal if americans and most westerners did not have a negative sentiment towards islam at this time. But it is something that we need to be aware of and make sure that we do not let it evolve into discrimination and segregation of all muslims esp the innocent ones

You have to realize a mass majority of Americans are extremly ignorant of all other cultures and this ignorance breeds hate. sad thing is, while so many people blame Muslims for all these terrorist attacks, there are also so many crimes commited in the name of Christianity. It's all about the ignorance and closemindedness that so many people love, it's very sad. I NEVER see a Muslim as a terrorist, labeling a whole people for the actions of a few extremest people is just wrong.
The media generally gives the wrong image of Muslims, thats why... sad but true....

I think so many people are unaware that the viewpoints held by terrorsit are those held by the Muslim community alltogether. People don't remember that Islam was one of the religions that gave the most rights to women at it creation. And people misintepret jihad as holy war.
They don't understand that all the "radicalism" isn't the religion but the governments of several Islamic countires.

Once again, I say ignorance, some people are just so ignorant of the world outside of themselves and they never bother to learn. If you're in a really diverse city, say New York, the problem is less prominent. Even though NY was the victim of terrorist attacks, most New Yorkers as Muslims as neighbors and know it's not the entire people, just a radical group.

Who are you talking to? Not every non-muslim thinks the same way.

However, the fact that you are muslim and know that it is forbidden to kill does not change the fact that some people do kill and are willing to die in the name of your religion.

I believe this is why many people blame Islam for every reason there is a boom (myself not included).

DEAR MILIY,terrorists can claim to be anyone.the object being to cause terror and disruption.Most muslims are aware that certain minority factions are trying to start the world war ,that Nostradamus is supposed to have predicted.Only the ignorant few condem all muslims,this is true on both sides of this debate.The great majority of us want to live in peace,take care of our families and not get involved in any sort of combat,believe me ,it is,nt heroic as it is on the films,it is dirty miserable and bloody.AND SO UNNECESSARY.A terrorist bomb, does not discriminate as to who it kills, and is a cowardly, but very effective terror weapon,women ,babies ,old people,Islam can stop it,unless there is another agenda.The faceless ones of the CIA are not blameless either.

The picture you paint of Muslims isn`t true of all Muslims, people like yourself may be good, caring people. Unfortunately in the UK a lot of your ideals like Sharia law are at odds with British law. There are a lot of women who are mistreated by their families, whether this is down to religion or culture, i`m not sure but it isn`t acceptable in a civilised society. Have a look at this story i read this morning, now it doesn`t say these people are Muslim, they could be other religions, i accept that. It makes me very sad to think of women who are so badly treated they are driven to this.

I originally believed Islam was a religion of peace, but I have not seen one single group of muslims protesting what the terrorrists do on a daily basis in the name of your god. Very sorry to say that as I am a very tolerant and open minded individual. I respect those who respect me, I have muslim friends and they are the nicest people, yet now I am more observant.

It very true that both war and terrorism are terrible but it is the people at the top that cause it not the average Joe public. As for racism that comes from fear as white British are not generally used to sharing the country with large quantities of people from other ethnic backgrounds and when people from those background strart setting off bombs the fear just grows .
