Thats the Christian view point.
The Quran says it was both Adam and Eve who forgot Gods orders and ate from the tree.
Thus, it wasnt solely Eves fault.
That to me, is more of common sense that anything Ive came across so far.
BTW The Quran says God forgave them after they sinned too.
So we Muslims view this whole business of original sin as nothing but nonsense.

Funny how men will always find someone else to blame, usually women.
If Eve was a bad person for tempting Adam, as head of the household (according to Bible teaching) Adam was worse because he did not guide her in the right direction.
If there is going to be 1 person who is in charge, the buck stops with them...therefore, if Adam was in charge Eve was not in control therefore not to blame. You can't have your cake and eat it boys.

Eve was deceived by Satan. She believed the lies he told her. But she had been told God's restrictions regarding the tree of the knowledge of good and evil and fully disregarded that order. Then she deliberately tried to get Adam to join in her sinful course. Adam was not tricked. He knew everything Satan said was a lie. He was also bad. Eve was certainly bad for trying to get Adam to do wrong.

Eve did not tempt Adam. Satan tempted Eve by twisting the commandment of God. Important to remember that she "...gave it to her husband (Adam) with her, and he ate." Adam was guilty of falling to the same temptation and was therefore found guilty of sin, moreso because God had given Adam (not Eve) the commandment not to eat of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil.

If you believe in Adam and Eve you support incest and believe that two brothers having sex can produce a baby! According to the Bible Cain was sent into the world with a mark that everyone will recognise. So if Adam and Eve was the first, then how was it that there was already people in the world? Even if they had daughters, they'd have to have sex with their brothers.

Have you ever lied? So are you a bad person?
We all sin... thats the bottom line. It was a rude awakening for God and that is why he has put us in this life. To see if we can live an acceptable life to be invited to Heaven.
We all sin, but if you try to fix your life and you try to dedicate it to God, he will be willing to forgive you, just like he probably ended up forgiving Eve.

No technically it was Adam's fault for disobeying because God told him not to eat from the tree of Knowledge. It was his choice to disobey God therefore leading to Original Sin
