Do many of you like to do that? I'm going to lie out in my yard for a couple of hours, too lazy to go to the pool. It's still hot enough here to tan up to 6:00 pm or later. How about where you live?

I see so many questions from Atheists and Agnostics about Christianity answered with "If you'd read the bible, you'd know," or something similar. Many Christians seem to assume that simply reading the bible will turn anyone over to their side.

Actually, for many people, it is reading the bible that finally shows us that Christianity is not the right path for us. That's the way it was with me.

So yes, I've read the bible (more than once), and no, I am not a Christian. if anything, reading the bible raised more unanswerable questions than it put to rest.

What do you think?

Since I've given my life to Christ, and finished reading the Bible, I've been getting attacked, and some of it is my fault by losing my passion to stay in the word after this.

I've sinned big time----in the flesh, mind, and spirit (lust, bad mouth, depression, covetousness, doubt , lack of faith, and worry), and I've repented.

I remember when Peter denied Christ, but after his death and resurrection, he came back stronger.

I feel condemned at times, and I need tips to stay on the right track. I don't want to fall back into these things.

Please give me tips.

I was on the wagon for a long time (even done public arts projects about it in Chicago), but I am becoming more skeptical. I should preface that I don't doubt climate change, but do question the degree to which human activity has drastically effected this change (called anthropogenic).

Interesting thoughts?

I heard that both were having problems in their marriage and was curious to know if they both really did get a divorce or was it just rumors? Also, my mom told me that when she saw both of them on TBN, they both looked very unhappy and didn't have their wedding rings on anymore. If it is true, I would like to pray for them both. Wouldn't that have been the OBVIOUS question for any disciple of Jesus to ask?

And don't you think that Jesus was capable of showing his own disciples how to worship in spirit?

And if you think he was capable of teaching them how to do it, do you think he would he have "held back" on such important information with the people he loved?

To make this question even more interesting... remember, his disciples were already glowing with the radiance of God's light at the Sermon on the Mount. Matthew 5:14

Some ladies made catty remarks to me at church today, like I was some hussy or something. I just like to wear low cut blouses. I'm not forcing anyone to look. I just think they're cute plus they are nice and comfortable, they give my bald headed babies some room to breath.

LAS VEGAS (AP) -- O.J. Simpson was arrested Sunday on charges related to an armed robbery involving sport memorabilia, police said.

Simpson was arrested shortly after 11 a.m. and is being brought to a police office, Capt. James Dillon said. Police are still determining charges against Simpson.

Several police officers were seen entering the hotel where Simpson is staying; a security guard said police took Simpson out a side door shortly after.

At least one other person has been arrested and police said earlier Sunday that as many as six people could be arrested in connection with the alleged armed robbery that occurred in a room inside the Palace Station casino-hotel on Thursday.

Simpson, 60, has said he and other people with him were retrieving items that belonged to him. He told police no guns were involved.

Police said two firearms and other evidence were seized at a private residence early Sunday.

Walter Alexander, 46, of Arizona, was arrested Saturday night on two counts of robbery with a deadly weapon, two counts of assault with a deadly weapon, conspiracy to commit robbery and burglary with a deadly weapon.

Those atrocities committed by Judaism, Christianity, and Islam... I meant it must have awful to have been one of the masses of people that they ruthlessly murdered... but that was hundreds of years ago (mostly anyway, even though there are still extremist holdouts)...

but seriously, persecuting the religious people today isn't going to bring back the dead and anyone who says we should honor their memories are nothing but fools...

I know of very few people personally who were tortured and killed at the feet of religion...

So why not just laugh instead and say "oh, well",

just as long as we make sure it doesn't happen again...
