To be specific, it's a pocket watch. I'm not even sure if it's what i'm buying, but I'll have to see. Anyway, it's silver and it's 'engravable'
I'm wondering if I should just put initials, or full names, or if I should even include my name?
What would you engrave?

Seems like an expensive gift but I would engrave it with from XX (your initials) to YY (his initials) and the date, nothing else, simple.

what i would engrave would be initials
or in the buckle i would engrave some kind of short text .(if you do get him a pocket watch)
