It was part of this statement, from another user:
"Wise One"
"ABSOLUTELY NOT! There are 2 billion Christians 1.7 billion Muslims, 200,000 Jews, 250 million Hindus and only Six Billion people in the world So how could it be a World View?? Not to mention a billion others who believe there is a God even without religion.
Atheists GET OVER YOURSELVES!!! "
So, what do you think? Are atheists not allowed to have a world view because we're in the minority?

HUUUUUHHHH...SIGHHHHH
THE QUESTION WAS "DO YOU THINK IT IS A WORLD VIEW?" MEANING: IS EVERYONE IN THE WORLD ATHEIST? MY ANSWER SHOWED HOW OVER HALF THE WORLD HAS A BELIEF IN GOD....... NOW AS I SAID ..GET OVER YOURSELF. Your all so convinced your right and what reward will you get for your belief? Lets see either DEATH there's a great one, or HELL. Which is your favorite? Don't get me wrong I don't hate Atheist's but you guys never shut up so believe what you will foolish as it is just stop trying to force your beliefs on everyone!
FOR THE ONE WHO MENTIONED BUDDHA,
Hindus believe he was an incarnation of God and how can one believe in Nirvana Heavens and Hells without a God. You all do not realize that Buddha despit popular opinion did not say there was no God, in fact he referred multiple times to GODS it was the Kings who wanted to be Gods that denied and altered the truth of BUDDHA Guatama Siddratha I know the BUDDHA very well thank you!!!!!!!!!!

The wise one failed to mention a few things. There are about 1.1 billion atheists in the world. Add to that number the Buddhists who likewise believe in no god or deity or any other fantacy creature and the number approaches 2 billion that do not have a faith in a god. That's the second largest group on the world concerning religion. Which atheism is not of course. Just who needs to get over themselves?

Oh dear...did someone say something to upset an atheist for a change? - LOL
The truth is everyone in this world has an opinion, regardless of what religion they believe in. Having an opinion is what makes us human.
I think maybe its just a shock for you that someone said "Get over yourself!"
"Maybe you don't know it all" is what they should have said.
Atheism is a religion too. Atheists have beliefs and opinions.
But if you don't want to believe there is a God then you have to rely on your own ideas (which may be flawed). I think this is the reason for the comment "Get over yourselves!!!!".
People are flawed. They are not reliable and basing your belief system on your own flawed ideas is like walking on quick sand - eventally you are going to sink.

Those numbers are not entirely correct. The ones whom had never had the chocie of being religious or not, should not be part of those numbers. Atheism is the majority of the world population, and atheism is slowly growing too. We will at some point experience religion to be something we look back at, as a primitive way of mentally surviving the imperfections of life.

My feeling is it would be the power generated by the people that is the might.
But is might right.
I am not in those statisics because I have never been asked.
There are so many more "belief systems" than those mentioned.
Buddhists, Taoists, spiritalists, to name a few.
Everyone should get over themselves.
The world would be a beautiful place without people arguing about something that is totally personal, unexplainable because it is always evolving, infinite in its living.
Allow all to be free, in love.
God is Gracious

ummm...how would being a minority opinion make it not an opinion? It is a world view, as in view of the world, not "the world's" view, as in the general perception the population. I assume that this was just a misunderstanding...

According to theists, nobody is allowed to have any world view other than theirs. That's why they're always so keen on killing each other over it.
And I think it's better to be in the minority and be right than in the majority and be wrong.

When the majority start thinking the minority can't have rights and views, that's when we start going over into very dangerous territory.

Although I am not an Atheist, I am a member of a minority religion....
You are as much entitiled to have a world-view as I am. Of course according to Radical Extremist Fundamentalist Monotheists, I am as bad as an atheist so if THEY feel you are not allowed they also feel I am not.....
