I have never been to Texas. I saw her for the first time in over fourteen years at my dad's funeral--which was three years ago. I have never stayed at anyone's home like that since I was younger. My mother in law will be going with me. Any suggestions?

Matthew 1:25 NAB tells us, "He had no relations with her until she bore a son, and he named him Jesus."

Where is it written in the Bible that Jesus' Mother is called "Queen of Heaven?"

Do you miss the peace and quiet of all businesses closed on Sundays. Where traveling was not sitting in a traffic jam because you were near a shopping mull. Where if you walked the streets maybe every 5 mintues or so a car would drive by and no trucks. Where most of the population was guarenteed a day off.

There is actually a board of people who decide what parts of the ancient texts are to be put into new bibles and circulated into the religious community make you wonder the least bit??

If different groups have very conflicting beliefs then how can they both be Christians ?

If one group says Jesus is GOD and another says he is only the son and NOT God then how can these two be classified as the same faith ?

We can't know what's good without evil, light without darkness, love without hatred, perfection without imperfection, gain and loss, and many other opposites in life. From my observations, I have heard people say the Devil is responsible for all the evil in the world, and that God is always good. I don't believe that Satan and his demons were "thrown from the kindgdom to earth." I belive God and Satan are like just like us humans- all of us have the potentiality and choice to do good or evil deeds. Humans have done wonderful things and horrible things to each other and to the Earth. Does anyone think God and Satan are two people in one? After all, according to the Bible, God wanted "man in his own image." I think good and evil both exist within God.

ok so I just got finished watching this film after someone reccomended it to me

I just answered a question about the various arguments against the existence of God. Then I read some of the other answers. One was "Why do you have to be so hating?" I was mystified by that, because the question had been written with really good manners, appropriate to a philosophical point of view. So why did this girl assume he hated her? Or her religion, come to that.
