This question is for people of all faiths or none at all. I am having trouble determining what the biblical position is though, and I would also appreciate an answer from a Christian on the biblical perspective.

Saying the word "god" does not mean that I caused your mother to force you to church. Please do n ot try to displace your weakness on me. It will never be fruitful for you. I use that word sometimes. I have made up my mind very emphatically, "I absolutely positively without a shadow of a doubt do not kinow if there is a god or not. NEITHER DO YOU.
So why not hang up your addictions. You will be in a position to move upward. stay as you are and you will stay as you are.

In my opinion is either because of a luck in imagination or a luck of will.

Unfortunately, sometimes it happens with humans also. It's not healthy, nor pleasant to think about it but it's a fact so this is possible.

I believe that unlike humans, God is a magnificent eternal being, formed in harmony of the three most wonderful beings in the universe. He is so magnificent irresistible that if you will ever see him, you will shiver to death. Humans are just not build to stand such attraction.

This is how I see things, hardly waiting to see some other opinions.

Many people are aware that the number of the beast is 666 as stated in the Holy Bible, KJV, Revelation 13:18, to wit: “Here is wisdom. Let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast: for it is the number of a man; and his number is Six hundred threescore and six.”

But what is the number of Jesus? The Bible does not explicitly or implicitly give His number. Some say it is 1 or 7 or 777 or 8888 or what have you.

I believe it is 888. Same three digits as 666. The number 8 is like the mathematical symbol for infinity in a vertical position. That is what God is. Infinite. The number 8 is repeated three times which is infinity for each of the three persons in the Trinity—God the Father, God the Son Jesus Christ, and God the Holy Spirit.

Christians, I believe there is no god, and I believe what scientists and scholars teach about science and evolution. I have been going to church for years (since I was an infant!) but I simply cannot have faith in your ancient mysticism that appeals to emotionalism, fear, and unsubstantiated faith.

I can't "prove" there is no god, or that your beliefs are false (beyond pointing out the occasional Bible glitches)... just as I can't disprove Islam, the Jews, Hindus, etc. Will my faith in science, logic, and objective examination of facts cause me to burn in Hell for all of eternity?

If that is the case, then I stand by my decision even more firmly to reject your god of fear, faith, and ignorance.

My mother had a pulmonary embolism and died for a few minutes. She was recessitated, but layed in a coma for 2 weeks. What happened to her soul?? Was her soul intact in heaven or was she in limbo of some sort, because she suffered parts of her brain being dead?

...how come is he not able to change the destiny of being crucified, knowing well that if the Romans manage to crucify him, then the charges the Pharisees and the Rabbis level against him that he is a false prophet is true then? Do you think it is enjoyable being crucified?

Even if he is not able to prevent being crucified, surely he can make God forgive Adam's sin for eating the apple, so that Christ himself doesn't need to be the crucified victim? And Christ must be able to do this, cos isn't he the Son of God and God at the same time? Or is Christ unable to, cos he is not as powerful as God the Father? This is confusing...

When food, fuel, power are scarce and expensive. When the sea water will rise between 7 to 43 meter. When hurricane, tornadoes, flood and drought will increase in intensity and reduce our habitat and food supply to a dangerous level. When population increase to 9 Billion. Why do religious people have to make us atheists feel bad about our selves? Isn’t religion supposed to be about good morals? I feel that no religious person I’ve met has better moral than I do. It’s really sad the way you people treat us. I, as an atheist live and let live. I do not care if you want to go to church every Sunday morning. I do not care if you spend most of your life worshiping something you can not see, hear, or sense at all. So my question is, why do you people give us atheists such a hard time?

This is really getting ridiculous. I feel we are heading in the direction of what the Jews went threw. In school, I used to be bullied because of what I didn’t believe in. Please, stop acting like you people are in charge of everyone ones lives. It’s not fair, and if you was as kind hearted as you say you are, you would realize that.
